carpet installation
 + -1 moreThey were courteous and professional. I was very pleased with the job. Prior to the installation of the wood flooring, I had discussed the reinstall of the carpet with our sales person and was assured that it would be looked after. However, neither one of us made sure that it was noted on the bill. As the wood flooring installers had no instruction to do the work they were unable to fix the carpet. Everyone at the flooring company did their best to contact supervisors, salesperson, and even the owner to sort out who would do the work and at what cost [if any] [April 29th]. Steve and Tony showed up at my door today [April30]. I had no knowledge that they would be coming. They did the work and would take no payment. {minimum service charge is usually $125.00} I had them measure two other bedrooms and the stairs. I will buy remnants and have Steve and Tony do the installation. I would not hesitate to refer Capricorn Construction to friends for their carpeting installation needs.
Description of Work: We had hardwood flooring installed in our upstairs hallway by another contractor and we needed to have the carpet at the entrance to the bedrooms stretched and retacked. Steve and Tony installed tackless strips and stretched the carpet into place. They also reattached the stair carpet to the riser.
