Unethical Behavior and Overcharging I had an extremely disappointing experience with this garage door motor installation company. The technician initially quoted me $1,400 but offered to reduce it to $700 if I wrote a 5-star review. The motor installed was worth around $150, and the job took less than 10 minutes to complete. What was truly upsetting was that the technician demanded I write the review immediately, refusing to let me leave to pick up my kids, who were waiting outside their school in 19°C weather. He even threatened to charge me an additional $50 if I didnâ t write the review on the spot. Under pressure, I struggled to log into my account, and once I did, he took my phone and gave his company a 5-star rating himself. Afterward, I checked with three other companies and found out I was charged an extra $300 -$490 compared to the standard market rate for the same job. This companyâ s practices are unethical, manipulative, and unprofessional. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Ron is the service technician who do the repair. He is very knowledgeable in his field. He gave honest advice and regarding repair and parts and labor, he is also very good at timeline.

Our garage door spring broke in half on a Saturday. I put in a request with home advisor and BSD Garage contacted us within 5 minutes of the request. They were out to our house within 3 hours and fixed the issue for a reasonable price! Very quick and efficient service.

Cannot give 0 stars. These guys came out and did a garage door opener for my elderly mother, and mounted the safety sensors on the opener mounting rails pointed at one another bypassing the safety device entirely. When I called to inquire and have them fix it, they actually insinuated that my mother asked that it be that way. Ensure they do all the work, they appear to take advantage of unsuspecting homeowners.
