Art Shuter Piano Tuner

Very well. Mr. Shuter took the time to explain what he was doing and tuned the piano twice (since the piano had not been tuned for a long time). He even played a few songs after finishing his work!! Very personable and competent.

Great experience. Confident, knowledgeable, and thorough. Looked over this new (to us) piano, tuned it, and corrected a squeeky pedal issue. We just found our piano tuner.

Great! Art was great, he was very courteous and knowledgeable! He knew my piano would probably need two tunings because it had not been tuned in such a long time, and he warned me ahead of time and made me aware of the cost before he started working. Nice guy! We will have him tune again!

AMAZING! He was so sweet and punctual and thorough. He was so friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him as he was getting started and as he was wrapping up. He tested out the piano when he was done by playing a few songs and, because we have a new baby in the house, he played some really cute lullaby songs and some fun ragtime. He was an all around nice guy and we will definitely have him as our regular tuner!

Very punctual--arrived right on time. Was wet outside from rain, and he brought his own slippers to change into, which was very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and explained some of the workings of the piano when I asked a question about a sticky key before he started tuning. Piano sounds great now. I will use him again and I recommend him to others.

He spent an hour tuning our upright Steinway. It's over one hundred years old and need a reat deal of attention to detail. He did a fine job and got a great result.

We picked Art because of his great reviews. He arrived on time, tuned the piano very well, and adjusted the pedals as the piano had just been moved. He patiently answered questions and played a few tunes on the piano. He didn't mind that one of our cats was interested in the process the whole time either. Highly recommend him for your piano tuning needs.

We have had our piano for 20 years and Art Shuter has tuned our piano for that entire time. He always does a very nice job on the piano. He is prompt and professional.

I just recently acquired my upright piano from my parents. The piano is about 40" tall and was "made" by Stresney & Sons. Since I was at work during the appointment time, I had a family member wait for Art to arrive. By the time I arrived, Art had completed most of the tuning. I found Art to be professional and the tuning he performed was done very well. Art even treated us to a couple of songs to put the piano "through its paces". The piano sounded wonderful. Art pointed out that the arm which holds the piano top open was not attached very well to the piano. I appreciated that Art pointed this out and I fixed it the next evening. I would recommend Art for his piano tuning services.
