Description of Work: Angelic Creations reconstructed my daughter's teddy bear. I took them a bag of stuffing and parts and was pleasantly surprised when I returned to pick him up that he looked like new. I had expedited service so the cost was a little more than it would have been, but I needed it for a shower in 3 weeks. If i 'd waited, it would have been August for the repair to be completed. I was very satisfied with their service and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Description of Work: Took in an antique doll for repair and new clohing. Her china face was cracked and two fingers were broken off. I picked out a new dress and shoes. When she was finished 3 months later her face was still cracked and her fingers were still missing. Upon inspection of the work order I had apparently only agreed to have her face cleaned, also fix a hole in the fabric foot. There was poor communication. I do not understand why they would not have asked me if I wanted the face and fingers fixed. I was obviously there for repairs. The dress and foot repair were nice, but THREE months later she was still cracked. Needless to say I did not leave her for more work. I think their expertise may be in the repair of plush toys, not antiques.

 + -1 moreI initially called Angel to see if a toy like mine was even fixable. She hadn't actually done one exactly like what I described, but she was willing to take a look and see if it was something she could manage. She gave me the option of coming to her store or mailing the toy so that she could look it over and give me an estimate of repair. Because the toy has sentimental value, repairing it was important to me, and I was more than satisfied with the quote of $65 to repair it. I mailed the toy to her and a few days later received a phone call telling me that it was fixable. All I needed to do, if I agreed to the price, was send a check to cover the cost of repair and return postage. A few weeks later, the toy arrived back home. My mother was thrilled (and I was relieved) that it was fixed. I am completely satisfied with my experience with Angel and would definitely trust her with future fixes, and would certainly recommend her to anyone who needs a treasured toy fixed.
Description of Work: Angel repaired my mother's antique string dog toy. The original strings inside the toy were so old that they finally just came apart when the toy was played with. She replaced the string and made it as much like new as possible for a 70 year old toy.
