An average short distance move turned into a disaster when, probably on instructions from a supervisor (Jose) could not or would not move our TV/dresser with mirror because it weighed too much. We were informed in advance about insurance issues with the move of the dresser, but never told that it couldn't be moved. Professional movers know how to take out drawers and should be able to remove the TV from the dresser in order to lessen the weight. One of the 2 movers tried to remove the back panel of the dresser, but upon speaking with his supervisor (Jose), he said it can't be done. Not professional at all and a bad experience.. Because of lack of time in the middle of our move, we had little choice  but to leave the dresser and TV behind.  A couple of days later, someone unrelated agreed to dismantle the TV from the dresser and carried it off for free. Our loss...their gain...because Two Men and a Truck refused to do what we hired them to do.

The movers were courteous and friendly and had a reasonably professional demeanor.  And they were strong.  But they didn't appear to know what they were doing when moving heavy items, including a sleeper sofa.  They damaged our wall and our floor on the way out of the house and they damaged the sofa on the way into the apartment and another wall in the apartment.  But we ultimately concluded that they did not properly handle our furniture.  We saw them dragging pieces of it on concrete.  And they left behind some furniture legs which they removed at the pickup location.  They also left behind some of their equipment at the pickup location and at the drop off location.

It was a positive experience. They were excellent, fast, very professional, strong and easy to deal with. It was really just two guys and a truck moving my whole house to another whole house. They were fantastic.

Very pleased with my team of movers Damien, Dwayne and Andre. All worked quickly and were professional and courteous. Because of there efficiency my cost came in under original quote. Thanks Guys

For moving, the only one I would suggest is probably Two Men And A Truck. We tried to get them but we couldn't because they're booked up but we used them quite a while ago and they were fine. They're usually pretty good and they were on time. They have comparable prices. They just seem to take good care of your furnitures.

Our experience was good. They did a really good job wrapping up everything and moving things. There were no damages or anything. They did it in a timely manner. We chose them by just looking for the least expensive with the best rating.

The two men showed up promptly and introduced themselves. They looked at the furniture that had to be moved and started to wrap and move right away. They had to use a very small elevator to move some hefty furniture and they did extremely well. Both gentlemen were very kind and considerate of us and our belongings. One worker was constantly in motion, however, the other worker was a bit distracted at what to do next. Nothing drastic, but I do think we could have been closer to the time that was estimated if he was as motivated as his co-worker. We did go over the time estimated, but not by much. Just a small nick to a book case, but they had to cram it into a small elevator, so I don't blame them at all.

Everything was confirmed in writing before the move, and the price was better than competitive. Because they worried they were going to be late the day of the move, they actually sent an additional truck at no charge to be sure we had someone there on time, and the additional truck was able to make the outlying stop while the original went to the 2 remaining locations. The workers were terrific, professional and quick. I would definitely use them again.

They were 2 hrs late. I needed at least 3 wardrobe boxes and they had none. I had several items that were broken that are irreplaceable . I also had a box of shoes that was missing "labeled UGG boots".  The drivers kept complaining to me about how bad the company was to work for, benefits , etc . I did contact the company regarding the above and was told they would reimburse me but have not heard from them. They came highly recommended and am not sure what happened with my move. Was very stressful to say the least.

A big THANK YOU to TWO  MEN & A TRUCK for a superior experience!  The office staff contacted us the same day after we sought information on-line.  All available services and prices were accurately explained.  Was able to book service on the day we requested (in less than a week!).  Movers were on-time, professional, and genuinely pleasant to work with.  Job was done within the time frame quoted.  Will definitely recommend to friends!

This was the worst moving experience ever.  We had boxed up everything and transported most of our small boxes already.  The movers just had furniture to move from a first floor condo to a first floor apartment just a mile from each other.   The crew arrived late, and then took twice as long as I was told it would tak.  The charge was almost twice as much as I was quoted.  The movers were not courteous, and they left entire pieces of furniture outside my home because they couldn't figure out how to get it inside.  

They were on time and very professional. It was estimated that the move would take 4-5 hours, but they completed the whole move in 2 hours. They were careful with the furniture and other delicate items. They were very quick and efficient in completing the move.

They were very concerned about insuring that the move went smoothly.

Great!  Got estimate over the phone
by going over each room verbally. Two days prior they called to verify date,
time and details. Moving day the guys ran maybe 30-minutes late and called to
notify us-no problem as this gave us some breathing room.  The guys showed
up and wrapped all items with moving cloths and wrapped again in plastic.
 They were friendly, polite capable and swift.  I had a bookcase that
was bear...they really worked hard and never complained.  My boyfriend was
a mover in his younger days and was really impressed and gave each guy extra
$$$-which they were quite appreciative of.  Can?t say enough positive
things about their great service.  Great phone service too from
Vanessa-very thorough. Cost was a few hundred less than quoted.  

Arrived late due to traffic but once arrived things went well.

Good experience overall. Moved only 7 miles locally however the 2 guys who came out hustled through out the time while taking good care of my belongings. Also, they were open to helping me put stuff in appropriate places in my new house (including the basement). Thanks and i would use them again for a local move.

On one of the hottest days of the year, our movers arrived promptly on time and immediately set to work taking an inventory and logging all items to be included in our move. My furniture and belongings were expertly covered in mover quilts then secured with shrink wrap. All items were moved to the desired locations, unwrapped and set up - all without damage or loss.  The 3 hard working young men were incredibly polite and curteous throughout the process - this firm should be very proud of how professionally Two Men and a Truck were represented.  The best part was when the overall cost came in  UNDER the initial estimate!Thank you to Randy, Carlos and team from Two Men and a Truck...for making a very stressful event an almost pleasant experience.  Two Men and a Truck is highly regarded and is certaily be highly recommened!

there is a need for the manager to make use that 2 men can handle tthe job. the two men did the best they could but it was only with the aid of two neighbors that it was possible for the unit to be brought into the house. Suggestion is taht he manager go to the location where the move is to go to .
