installed countertop has chip but they just fix it with glue even though the manager told me that they will replace it before installation. Now the glue is gone and the chip comes out!!!! I tried calling but ignored. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Disaster. Wife handed installer mounting clips for a sink and they walked out with them and then denied having the clips. During the installation, they removed a bracket from the wall and then drilled a hole in my wall in the wrong place. They are a Home Depot subcontractor and my payment was to Home Depot.

This was a horrible experience for me.  The Stone Systems workers came to my house to measure my countertop.  I mentioned to them that we are still completing the re-facing of 1 section of cabinet, but the old cabinet faces, drawers, and doors were still on the cabinet. As such, I asked them to assume that the length would be same as what's currently on the cabinet.
I guess this was too much for the installer to understand, because when they came out to install the countertop that section was an inch too short. Which left no overhang. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this mishap the day they came to install.
A month later, I contacted them regarding the mistake and I  hoped to get the mistake fixed. They refused to fix it. AND, to make it worse the installer was extremely rude when they came back to review the work. They claimed I never told them there would be doors and drawers in that section. Really! Why would i lie about that? I want my kitchen to look good!  
Now, I am stuck with a horrible looking countertop, because I trusted them to measure correctly. Well, lesson learned. But, don't ever use this company.

Went to Home Depot for a quote which I couldn't beat (IKEA came close but went ahead with Home Depot).  They use Stone System of Chicago.  Read some reviews online and was a little concerned but everything went great and I have no complaints.  They were prompt, professional, and kept communicating with me and Home Depot.  They had to come back a second time to do the island back splash.  Would use them again if I had to.  Would recommend them to my friends.

I had a horrible experience with Stone Systems! I had to have over 4 countertops redone, due to not cutting straight or defective products. It was a nice looking product, but horrible company! They were late, but show up on the correct day. I would not use them again!

They prompt with the installation. The quality was good and we have no problems. The seams were very well hidden. They did a very large piece and it has no seams. I didn't know that there were hidden charges because there were no seams. That frustrated me. I was pleased with what they did. I should have been informed. They gave me a lot of feedback on how to care for the counter tops. They look very good. They were careful and cleaned up.
