Chicagoland Heating and Cooling

We had a home warranty contact Steve to replace our furnace. Even though we had the warranty, Steve charged us an additional $750 for sheet metal adjustments. He also installed a smaller unit than the original. He disconnected the a/c because he stated that it needed work and won't operate properly which could cause damage to the furnace. Now our a/c won't work even though it worked fine before he installed the furnace There was no reason to disconnect the a/c. I had to call another company to reconnect the a/c and get it working properly, BUT the furnace unit he installed now has a bad motor. So he didn't properly complete the HVAC job, charged us too much and installed a bad product. I believe he wanted more work so by not connecting the a/c back, he would have to come back. I would not recommend him at all.

Steve came the same morning I called concerning the nonoperative A/C compressor. He not only fixed the problem with the burned electrical wires (we think a rodent got hungry) and stayed perform the annual maintenance on the unit when I requested it. He was professional and prompt. I would use him again.

I called Chicagoland Heating and Cooling after a friend recommended them to me and I couldn't be happier. My furnace was making a weird noise, so Steve came out and replaced my inducer motor. The furnace purrs like a kitten now. I would highly recommend using them in the future.

Absolutely amazing! Our neighbor suggested Chicagoland heating & cooling to us and we're so glad we called! Steve was out by us within an hour or so and made sure our family stayed warm. He replaced our flame sensor and did a routine cleaning on our furnace to make sure it was working efficiently. He was very nice, professional, and our furnace has been working smoothly all winter thanks to him. We'll definitely be calling him back to do a tune up on our A/C this summer too.
