"Hi [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your awesome review. Best of luck to you and the new member of your family."

"[Member Name Removed], Thanks so much for the great review. It has been my pleasure to meet and work with you. Joe"
"Mrs. [member name removed], When we first met you told me I was one of a few companies that were bidding. You let me know that you were selling your home and did not want to spend a lot of money. You accepted my proposal for $3900.00,not $5000.00. When the carpeting was installed on September 2nd 2013, you told me that the color was way off and you would not accept it.After our meeting at your home we concluded that the color was correct, but the shade tone was a little off from what you expected from the 6 inch x 6 inch swatch that was sent to you. Dye-lots to vary, but I agreed to have the carpeting replaced, a 12 x 90 foot carpeting (120 square yards). This time I asked that the Mohawk Mills send you a One foot by twelve foot piece off of the roll that you would receive so there would be no confusion as to the correct dye lot. They did ship it to you, and you accepted it.It took a little bit of time for the sample to come in, and for you to accept it, and for Mohawk Mills to send me the new carpeting. In the interim I told you to use the carpeting that was installed for your every day use. The new carpeting was installed 37 days latter, not four months later as you suggested. The Berber Carpeting that you ordered has a Sisal straight line type pattern to it. The low light in your basement was showing up the seamed joint. I came over to your home to take a look at it. While I was there, I rolled the area that was in question to see if the pile of the Berber was flattened. Every thing seamed to line up correctly, but I agreed that in the low light you could see the joint in some of the line, even thou with your basement light turned on, you could not find it. I told you I would have my Installers back out to remedy the situation, and to re-do the joint to your satisfaction. This was done expeditiously, and to your satisfaction and as professionally as could be done. I see you are sending the review from Portland. Congratulations on the sale of your home in 2013. It is very important for me to tell you point blank Mrs. [member name removed], I did not sell you flawed carpeting that didn't match the sample you had. The manufacturer is Mohawk Mills. The sample was clearly marked, and the dye lot was a little off. I know because I sent you the Bill of Laden from Mohawk Mills. I ordered the carpeting a second time, with no questions asked! Carpets in the Park installed the carpeting correctly, and took care of all of your concerns. It didn't take four months to complete, it took 37 days. I have been in business ( Carpets in the Park) for over 27 years and never ever have done anything as you suggested, from selling flawed materials to taking forever to complete, in a disorderly fashion. Best of luck to you in Portland."
It looks amazing. Had a small issue with the installer using a broken piece of wood which I was unable to see until the varnished dried and a puddle of varnish that had dried solid. I sent Joe a picture of the broken wood and he had the installers back at my house the next day to fix the broken piece of wood that was used, and they also fixed the puddle of varnish. I was shocked at how good the repair looks. You'd never know there was anything done. I was very happy with the job and the prompt response and resolution to the problem. I would definitely recommend and use them again with hesitation.
He tried hard but everything stemmed from initial mistake in bid. Great guy, good relationship, good crew, but unfortunate error.
"Thanks [member name removed]...It was my pleasure serving you. Have a great Summer."
One more thing.... I ordered a commercial carpet because I wanted a tough long wearing carpet. I had wanted to put in a berber. It's only been a month and a half and I there are quite a few threads popping up. That bothers me. Go with your first choice.
They were very efficient and careful in their work and took no breaks, not even lunch.
They did an excellent job and we would certainly have them do carpeting for us again.
BOTH CREWS WERE EXPERIENCED, FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT, QUALITY WORKMANSHIP.
