Very happy with results. Very professional, job completed quickly and on time. We would hire them again.

Done very well with good site clean-up and excellent follow-through on a subsequent problem. They also were very fair about which decking needed replacing - something that could be abused. Most importantly, when after the installation we discovered that something had apparently fallen into the kitchen vent causing a loud noise when the fan was turned on, Tom at Lombardo addressed the problem quickly and with some good ideas to ultimately remove the offending bit of debris. Problem solved.

They replaced the flashing, but it still leaked. So now Tom blames the tuckpointing. No way that large amount of water was coming in through the masonry. He would not own up to his shoddy workmanship, and found new excuses every time. First he was convinced it was condensation. Then he was convinced it was the masonry. His excuses have no basis in fact or reason. I would not hire this company again even to put a roof on a dog house, and I advise everyone else to stay away from this company. They did a poor job on the gutters and an extremely poor job on the chimney flashing twice. I finally had my tuckpointers do it properly, and guess what? No leaks. They have no pride in their workmanship, do not understand deductive reasoning, and keep finding more and more excuses.

Excellent. The job was the result of an inspection on the house. The information provided for the repair was vague at best. A call to the inspector was extremely difficult. Chris went to the house to inspect the roof, read the report and then went above and beyond to advocate for me with the inspector. He made the necessary repairs and the job was done within a day. Wouldn't hesitate to call him for any roof, siding, gutters, or windows (home) issues. Even if he didn't handle the issue, I would be comfortable with his recommendation(s).

I appreciated their advice re the additional downspout, as there is a large portion of roof slanting down into the gutter.

Chris Lombardo and his staff were very friendly and professional.  They promptly answered my call and Chris came out to give me his ideas on how to fix my leaking window (which was a mystery).  Spent time looking at my roof and the inside and came up with a game plan as I did not want to replace my whole roof at the time.  An estimate was received the next day and was very reasonable.  Within a week they came out and completed the work in a few hours.  Knock on wood, I have had no rain coming in through my window since then and we have has a lot of rain!

I have had several roofers at my house in the last few months to evaluate the condition of my roof and to recommend when I should put a new roof on and with what type of shingles. I got widely varying and contradicting opinions, so it was very confusing. But, Chris Lombardo seemed to be the most experienced, knowledgeable, and honest of them all. He explained why my roof architecturally is not suited for cedar shake and explained what type of shingle would work the best and be the least likely to leak. He put me on the schedule quickly before the snow hit. His crew did a good job. The roof looks great.

Chris responded within the same day to my call and did a from-the-ground inspection, noting several features that may need to be addressed later.No pressure to have additional work done. He gave a complete history of his company stressing his commitment to value and customer satisfaction. We agreed on the work to be done and a weather dependent date, and I received an E mail bid form to sign that day. Several days later I received a call from Evelyn, who does all the back room work for Chris, informing me that due to a cancellation of another job because of the threat of bad weather, the crew as available now. I agreed it would be an acceptable time. The crew of 3 arrived a short time later and quickly set up ladders and equipment. The repair work was done expertly, with good quality materials. The workers were very pleasant and obviously had pride in their workmanship. They left the jobsite in an "I can't-tell-they've-been-here" condition. I am very pleased with the work, the personable relationship with Chris and the efficiency of Evelyn in following up on the bid,scheduling and confirmation of receipt of payment. His bid for later work was complete, thorough and reasonably priced. Yes, I would highly recommend C. Lombardo Installations, Inc for roofing repair and replacement.

needed a new roof due to faulty shingles -- contacted 5 companies - C Lombardo was in the middle of the quotes but better customer service could not be asked for -- I needed a full tutorial on shingles as I did not want another experience with faulty shingles -- Tom explained and then re-explained the shingles and the process and answered every question I had -- over and over again -- I had a brief panic that part of the roof looked bubbled after install and Tom re-explained that they would lay down over time and with heat (we had a late fall install) -- he was right -- roof looks great and no leaks --- consider going for the larger gutters as we did -- they really move the water off the roof (the leaves too)

We made an apt to review the contract in detail and explained what to expect.
The crew showed up on time, had the roof replaced in a day in a half (due to rain in the afternoon)
They cleaned up afterwards and the roof looks great!

Two aspects of the job were more "good" than "excellent". The first was punctuality. It was by no means bad, the job was just delayed a little more than we would have liked (we were getting nervous because it was getting colder out, and at a certain point it becomes too cold for shingle installation). If I recall correctly most of the delay was weather (rain) related. However, this delay was not a huge issue since they stayed in contact with us and didn't leave us in the dark as far as when they expected to be able to complete the job. Keeping the customer informed is important, and I got the feeling they understood that. The other aspect which was "good" rather than "excellent" was professionalism. The subject who came out to give us the estimate was great, however the crew that actually did the work was good in this aspect, but not great. Then again, I think that just comes with the territory of the job. It takes a certain kind of person to spend all summer on a hot roof...I think I would be cursing and clowning around a little but if I was up there too. Regarding the extra $3000 spent on plywood...while it was not a pleasant surprise, I did not feel cheated. We were warned about the possibility during the estimate (he advised us some areas of the roof seemed "spongy" when walked on) and one of the workers showed us the condition of the plywood and explained what de-lamination was. The entire job took less than a day, and the dumpster they had delivered to our driveway way did not sit there very long. Overall we were very pleased with the company. The other estimates were $1000-$3000 higher and in retrospect I could not justify that extra expense after seeing the quality of C. Lomardo's work.

It took a few months for him to complete the project. The service was wonderful. We had no complaints and were pleased with his work. He moved all the debris each night so we didn't have to deal with it.
