Home Building
We noticed that the fascia boards were rotting on our house.
We called a contractor to replace the wood. He started checking as to why the fascia boards we no longer sealed, causing them to be exposed to the elements.
He said when the roof was put on, care was not taken to seal the fascia boards.
Also, there was rotten sheeting under the singles on a section of the house. He said the sheeting had to be rotten years before the roof was put on.
On the opposite end of the house, there was a section that had NO SHEETING at all. It is a miracle that no was has fell through that section when installing a satellite dish etc!
This repair is costing us thousands to fix. We are not happy.
