"To be honest we couldn’t find a contract with this person until my sons looked through emails and we found that the contract was with his wife. I don’t know how we missed this but I called yesterday to apologize and see if we could fix the issue. [Member Name Removed] told me they had already hired a roofer and that there are selling the home. He then said that if I sent $ 1,000.00 dollars to their charity they would take off the review on google. I didn’t like the felling of being blackmailed so I told him no. The vary next day he decided to write another bad review on Angie’s. I’m guessing he will continue until We pay this money. We do try to make all of our customers happy and I’m not sure how this slipped away from us. I did apologize and wanted to send my guys out to make it right. But unfortunately that was not possible. So this was 3 years ago and we have no idea if there was anything done that damaged the work and caused the leak. Not passing the blame here. I just don’t feel right being blackmailed to remove reviews or stop them. I told him I didn’t call to fix a review. I wanted to apologize and see if we could send a crew out. I try to keep our customers happy. And I understand that this is my Livley hood to supply for my family. We have a service that logs all calls and emails. We had an email in 2020 from his wife and I mentioned we would send a crew out. It was 1 email regarding a leak."

"We did break what she stated. I replaced the broken window / she didn’t like the way it looked around the window I personally came back to paint the entire boxed area she wanted. I also went looking for a glass lantern for 6 days. Finally when I purchased three for her to chose from she said she had another glass. (Never told me prior but let me look for one) She never asked for compensation.. she wanted me to find that exact antique glass pitcher.. (that’s virtually impossible) I sent a guy to look at her floor and he said at first he couldn’t even see what she was talking about because how small the scratches where and he didn’t want to do the job because she was a difficult person. I sent her contractor who installed her floors to look at her floors and he told me she wanted him to refinish the entire kitchen and dinning room and I was supposed to pay for that as well. He also told me that he really didn’t want to do the job because he remembered her and she was vary difficult person to work with.. This is a three flat and the other owners actually have given us great reviews and used our company for there Families roofs. She makes it seam like I didn’t try to make her happy.. but for some customers this is simply not possible. I wish she could post the pics of the damage floor she’s talking about. She has threatened me because she’s an attorney. And regards to payment: she paid a portion of the 11k that was divided with the other owners. And she was the last one to pay. She needed weeks to pay. I spoke to her on 6/2/20 She wants $100 for glass pitcher and $1,400.00 to resurface her entire kitchen and dining room. The damaged area is about 10 inches x 10 inches at the door. The she has covered with a mat. I offered her $800.00 and she said she will only remove this false review if she gets all of that money. Oh well.. you can’t please everyone."

"We have completed the work and even did some extra work at no additional charge. At my last conversation the owner seamed satisfied and has approved an additional repair that was not part of our original project scope."
