About us
In 1994, Keith and Mary Lou Johnson opened one of the first Solatube dealerships (and we had twins and a one and three year old-yes we were busy!!!). Being pioneers in the tubular daylighting world wasn't easy but because of the excellent product being offered, and the excellent service we provided we were on our way to the top! After installing 10's of thousands of Solatubes in just about every imaginable house and structure we truely became the professional that every homeowner learned to trust for complete service. Our employees our honest, have integrity, our respectful, knowledgeable, friendly and clean!! We are very fortunate. "I just discovered this terrible report my business received and immediately looked up the member to refresh my memory and try to figure out just what she is talking about. From my records: 07/31/02 Brighter Concepts installed a 10" 2ft Solatube with a light in a closet 02/26/08 She talked to me at a home show in St Charles and said either her skylight or Solatube was leaking. ( It is a rare, rare day that a Solatube leaks, and even rarer that it would happen after being installed for 6 years!) 4/15/08 We went to her home for a 10am appointment, no one answered the door, the installer went on the roof and saw no problem. We left a note and placed it in the door. 05/04/08 She emailed us, saying we never came. We responded we did and told her we found nothing wrong with the Solatube. The last we heard from her. In response to her note: 1. We never attacked anything???? 2. We installed a Solatube (if we didn't how could she say it leaked). 3. FYI-We don't install traditional skylights, never have and never will. She should find the company that installed the skylight and talk to them. 4. Finally, how could a Solatube in the closet make a Skylight in the bathroom leak? The member is confused, on who did what to her home and I'm sorry to say it member's comments are making no sense. She is saying we have never done anything, she is saying she paid for a Solatube and skylight that were never installed. Then the never installed Solatube is causing (the never installed) skylight to leak....WHAT?? No company should have to be slammed by a person that is this confused. Please look into your files and try to get everything right. I take more pride than you could imagine in my business and I am totally undeserving of this solid F-F-F-F-F-F rating. Please!"
