Renovax Windows Siding & More

We initially loved the work done by Renovax. Unfortunately after 1 year the James Hardie siding began buckling at various points around the house. One large section over our front door became completely detached. Jack from Renovax came to inspect the issues and blamed everything on either wear end tear (yes after one year) or wind damage. Jack argued with me and my 6 month pregnant wife for about an hour saying that the only way he would fix the issues was if we agreed to having large, non-manufacturer specification screws that "wouldn't be pretty." In addition to these issues, we learned that Renovax installed new gutters without gutter aprons (flashing), that was allowing water to get behind our siding. This most likely caused the buckling issues. Jack insists we don't need the flashing, even though it's in our contract, and now says the only way he'll honor the work is if we sign an agreement that we won't hold Renovax accountable for damaging our house! Renovax finally came out to "fix" the buckled siding and now we're getting water seepage into the house which caused damage to a renovated section of our house. Jack from Renovax blamed our roofing (we had the roof replaced 7 years ago) for the new leak that started at the exact spot they just reworked. We were forced to hire another company which showed us that Renovax cut away a section of shingles to some flashing and that is where the water was entering our home. They fixed the issue, we've had several days of rain and no more water has come in. The same contractor showed us several other issues he found with the work performed by Renovax, including siding that doesn't extend all the way to the roof with the gap hidden behind aluminum flashing. You can lift up the flashing and see into our house. We've had large amounts of stink bugs and lady bugs finding their way into our house and now we know why. This has been such a disappointing experience, we have 4 children including a newborn. Instead of enjoying our new renovation with our new family addition, Renovax has caused us so much stress without any remorse or care. I have pictures and video, including Ring footage of Jack arguing with my pregnant wife, saying our siding is bowing and buckling because of vibrations from our sliding patio door. I've lost so many brain cells dealing with this company, whatever they might have been in the past I can guarantee you they are now far from that.

Perfectly. Jack guided us through material and color selection, showed up exactly when he said he would and got the work done (beautifully) in a timely manner. He even replaced - at no charge! - some soffits that a sloppy power washer damaged. I would hire this company again in a second, and recommend them to anyone needing this type of service.

It went very well! Jack brought samples to our house to help us pick colors. He represents good brands, so we felt good about the materials. His crew arrived on time or early, and worked non-stop until the job was finished, even putting in time on Sundays. Everyone was neat, polite and thoroughly professional. I would recommend Jack and Renovax to anyone.

Every aspect of the project was handled with integrity and professionalism: - Jack had a wide range of materials for our selection. - He explained in detail how the project would progress. - The team showed up promptly at 7:50 every morning and worked (hard!) until 6:30 every night. They even put in a half day on a Sunday to keep our project moving. - Every employee was polite and clean - no messes left behind. - The project was completed more quickly than expected and the result is BEAUTIFUL! - We requested two minor corrections, which they made within 2 days. This could be the best home improvement project we've ever undertaken.

It went exceptionally well. Work was done in timely manner, just a matter of weeks. Workers and company owner paid special attention to the job's details. We couldn't be happier with the work. The company owner had told us, "Once you decide to go with us, I will worry more about your garage than you." He was right. He introduced us to Hardie-Board, which is so much better looking than vinyl siding.

Jack and his crew did an amazing job on our house. His communication with us was excellent; from setting up the start date to letting us know exactly what had to be done to make our house look good. We had gutters, windows, soffit, and fascia replaced. The workers were very professional and skilled at what they do. We are extremely happy with the results and look forward to them doing our roof and siding in the future. A few other things we were impressed by seemed to fall into the "going the extra mile" category. They fixed a few loose shingles on the roof that would have surely created a leak, repaired a window that was leaking water and had been installed incorrectly by another provider on Angie's List, calked some existing windows(again, not done by the previous installer), and painted a decorative piece of the house that now matches the rest of the work they did.

It went great.  Jack came exactly when he said he would to give an estimate, followed up quickly with written proposal and completed the work within just a few days.  Very professional, courteous.  Gave us some other ideas for the future, also, so we could keep them on our radar, which we appreciated.

From the first time I talked to Jack I realized how much this guy really cares about his clients. He and his staff were very professional from the beginning till the end. The cost was very fair, no complaints. They arrived the first day 2 hours late do to weather, but who cares about that, nothing they could do. As far as the work, A-, they did an outstanding job.  Now I had them leave the old gutters, to recycle(got $33.83 for them), the only problem I had was they didn't clean up the medal brackets from the old gutters. When I went to mow the lawn I had 3 nice surprises waiting for me which wasn't fun I might add. I will be using them again in the future and will send other buisness their way. A true family owned buisness.
