A very impressive operation that was a pleasure to work with. The estimator, office staff and site crew were all highly professional. We had an insurance settlement for hail damage. The coordination between our insurance company and Peterson was seamless. We are 100% satisfied with our new roof.

As an Engineer closely involved with all aspects of improvements on my home I had some very specific inputs on this re-roof. I had another well-rated company "E" not even send a quote after coming out to estimate. I was impressed with production coordinator Bob, who contacted me days before the start to review the details of job. This is good practice! On job day, there was an appropriate attention to detail. Alfredo and the whole team completed the job in a very workman-like manner. Highly recommended!

Peterson is a class act. We originally called due to condensation and possible roof leaks. John G. Came out to inspect and was extremely thorough, going up into our attic and giving us a full report. Then I asked him for an estimate for new roof because our roof was more than 22 years old. After receiving 3 quotes, we chose Peterson because they had very good reviews and because I felt like I got the most thorough and honest evaluation from them. I got a very good feeling from them. The owner John Peterson was the three “P’s.” Very professional, polite, patient. There was a long delay after I chose the desired color because John P. told us that color was out of stock and would not be ready till next year. I had to sift through lots of other colors and John P. always made sure I received all the sample boards I needed to come to a decision. He knew I was having a hard time deciding so he even searched ( in parts unknown to me) for my 1st choice and found it. He called to tell me he had it. By that time, however, my husband and I had decided on the Moire Black Hi Def. That’s the color we chose and we love it! It’s beautiful. Both my husband and I give Peterson Roofing high praise and would recommend them to anyone!

From the very beginning, the Peterson team was responsive and readily answered all of our questions. The estimate was done very quickly and the price was competitive. The workers were prompt, respectful of our property and worked quickly and professionally. The quality materials used exceeded our expectations. It went incredible. Not only were they honest and diligent, they found more problems under my roof when they ripped off my existing roof. They showed me pictures and explained in detail what they had to do in order to make sure everything was to their standard. They didn’t hide the fact that it was going to cost me extra and they ended up eating half the costs because they already knew I was over budget. They understand good business practices because they did something for me they didn’t have to do. I highly recommend this company for any and all roof jobs. Not only is their work impeccable, their customer service is also 5 star!

It was a new construction job and things went very smooth. We changed a few things roof related while they were working and the Peterson team was very accommodating and fair to us. I will hire them for all my upcoming projects.

Several years ago, I had a leak in my garage roof. Peterson Roofing Inc. was one of the only companies willing to access the problem and give me an estimate. They contacted me in a timely manner, explained how they would fix the problem, and gave me a good estimate. The only thing I wish they would have done better is given me a little more notice before employee suddenly appeared at my house. But, I really can't complain since he was scheduled to come in December, but he was able to squeeze us in the day before Thanksgiving. He did a wonderful job, and I haven't had a leak since then. I would hire them again.

Peterson Roofing did our new roof following a hailstorm and, as homeowners, we could be more pleased with the outcome, professionalism and roofing excellency provided. The roof was completed immaculately, proficiently and quickly within the day. They then returned several days later to add new gutters and down spouts. Appointment scheduled for 10:30-11:00am Called to confirm at 10:15am Told he would be there at scheduled time No one showed up Called at 11:30am to ask what the issue was I was told I was the first scheduled appointment and he should be here. She said she’d put a call into him and get back to me. 12:35 I call to see what’s going on. She was rude and related that he thought my appointment was cancelled and went to another job in des plaines. Very unprofessional. I work nights and sleep during the day. I stayed up for this appointment. Would never use them again

The workers were very respectful when I had to leave the house. They were on time and did a wonderful job cleaning up. Definitely refer them to anyone that needs house services.

Peterson Roofing did an excellent job on our roof replacement. They were punctual, courteous and clean. They also came with a large crew and finished in one day. I especially liked the fact that they use their own dump trucks for debris removal and don’t park a huge dumpster in your driveway. The price was fair for services rendered. I would recommend and use again.

I don't have enough words for the fantastic work done by the entire team. They were very responsive and made the whole process smooth and painless. Everyone, from owner to the roofer involved in the work were awesome. There price was very competitive and workmanship just amazing. I will hire them again in a heartbeat. Contract 7/9//19; Scheduled 8/9/19 (over 4 weeks); Notice 8/8/19 (24-hours) with no expectation that the homeowner is present (work will be done, regardless). Fortunately, I was not out of town or on vacation, so arranged to work from home and monitor the work. The only work that I witnessed being completed was the Bitumen strip flashing. Upon presenting the contract to the worker, he said he was told to only install the Bitumen strip flashing (even though I would be billed for the full invoice). If I had not witnessed the work, I would have trusted and assumed the entire contract was fulfilled faithfully, and likely paid the full invoice. I had to negotiate with the manager on the work that was not done and a final price. Again, what if I was not present to witness the work?

It's fantastic! They were on time, professional and polite. The quality of work is exceptionally good. I will continue to refer them.

Exceptional from the office staff, scheduler and crew. Done right the first time - it's been two years and I am trouble free. Totally protected the plantings around my home - didn't even find a nail after. Price not the cheapest or most expensive - competitive with the other quotes. Very glad I chose Peterson and will use them again whenever the need arises.

My gutters on the house I bought were not sized or placed correctly causing problems with seepage at my house and my neighbors as well as causing driveway issues. In addition, the gutter drains were blocking use of a cement pad I wanted to use for trash cans. I needed someone who could understand my weird descriptions and requirements. I had used Peterson before to do some roof repair after a storm, so I called them to get an estimate. I got an estimate right away but as I asked for it so late in the fall (and we got that big November snow), I doubted the work could be done before spring. But in early December, I got a call that Peterson would be out. They came on time, confirmed the work to be done (replace with larger gutters, keep the roof flow from splashing out, move and redirect a downspout). and completed it better than I imagined. As a side note, I realized that a large metal lizard would have to be removed from my deck wall and I would have to have it rehung. When I looked at the completed job after work, it pleased me to no end that the lizard was on the wall I feel terrible that I forgot the worker's name, but it was the extra appreciated touch to having my gutter problems resolved before spring./ The gutters are working great.

From start (estimate) to finish ( work completed) - the Peterson team was very professional . Just the facts - no con job at all... They admit they are a little higher priced than the rest but they do fabulous work and stand behind it. I waited four years to write this review to see how the roof held up and it is still in perfect condition. We are very grateful that we chose Peterson. Our neighbors went the "cheaper" route and have had ongoing problems with their roofs / roofers. Make the right decision and go with Peterson.

Excellent and looks great.

We ultimately did not hire Peterson, but I would strongly consider them for future work. We called several companies for estimates to repair or replace a flat roof on an addition to our home. Peterson was the first company to respond, the first company to come out to the house, and the first to provide an estimate. I was impressed that they provided 3 estimates: 1) to simply repair a damaged/leaking area, 2) to put a new roof over the existing roof, and 3) to tear off and replace the existing roof. They were very responsive, and communicated clearly and quickly by phone and email.

We highly recommend Peterson. They installed a new roof (including new bath vents, soffits vents, wood replacement in attic), sky light, gutters, and gutter guards. We had three proposals from three very reputable companies and they all came in about the same. We chose Peterson based on previous small repair work they had done and would hire them again in a minute.

Not sure how the actual 'fix' went - hasn't rained yet but hopefully all is good! However, the rep who came out to provide the estimate showed up a few minuets early (gave a 2-hour window and he showed up before the beginning of the window which is always appreciated), did what I consider an extremely thorough inspection of the roof to best determine the source of the problem. He also inspected other areas of the roof and the roof on the detached garage. The roofer who worked on the leak showed up early, worked hard and cleaned up after himself. The work looks good and I am grateful they were able to fit a small job in before the winter weather arrived. I will update after it rains/snows if there were any problems.
