Initially, the demo went very quickly, as did the framing of the new space. I had renovated my previous home myself so I at least understand the rudimentary basics and know quality work when I see it. I felt the team was working very hard and communication was good between iBuild, the onsite team and me. Our sales guy Kevin was sort of a 'slick' guy that was more sales and not construction, but the project manager / foreman on site seemed to have everything under control. After several weeks there was a breakdown in communication and it appeared the onsite sub became too busy with other jobs and mistakes started to be made. I would reach out to Kevin constantly and get generic answers and no movement. Our deadline for the work was missed and I was furious. I called the main line for iBuild (Patty - office manager) and explained what was happening. Apparently the sub and Kevin had not kept the office informed of what was going on or at least not the full extent. The owner, Tony DeAngelis, then called and setup a visit. He was extremely upset and frustrated that this had happened. While it was too late to meet our deadline, he took steps to rectify the situation, letting go of Kevin and the sub from the company while bringing in a long time employee to ensure the job was finished as quickly as possible. He made sure either he was available or Patty, the office manager, to keep me updated. On top of that, he offered a significant amount of money back as a good faith gesture and promised that if we ever were to consider iBuild again, he would personally ensure our satisfaction. Obviously, we were not happy how things broke down in the middle, but felt Tony and his team's efforts went over the top to fix the situation. Additionally, we felt a lot of the work was very high quality, especially the custom built in bench and cubbies which were built to my very specific design. Given that, and his very real frustration over the situation when we met in person, we are planning to give iBuild another opportunity on upcoming projects we have. While you always want a job to go perfect from beginning to end, I think seeing how a firm responds in a tough situation can sometimes tell you more of their character and quality and I would recommend iBuild to others. I am giving iBuild a B since the project didn't go 100% perfect, but will happily address my review and edit as necessary upon using their services again.

They were very responsive, they showed up everyday as planned. I never felt like I was bothering them and they did a very high quality work.

It was an excellent experience. We are actually using them for some other project and we are satisfied.

Our family of 5 moved into an older home that needed quite a bit of work late summer. We had multiple contractors bid on the job, and landed on IBuild after meeting with Tony. We felt comfortable with him immediately. He quickly put together multiple plans that might work for our space which was well received as we really needed help to see possibilities. Work started shortly after Thanksgiving, and lasted into January. Robert and Co. made sure to take extra care while in our home in winter and being surrounded by our very busy family, and geriatric dog :) Clean up was always done after the work day which was greatly appreciated. Robert was always responsive and took extra time to be manage the daily tasks. We genuinely felt that he cared. We are thrilled with the work, and no doubt would call IBuild again with our next job!

They finished the whole job in the time that they quoted and it was done in a timely manner. Experience was excllent. Tony the owner and his crew was helpful and did a great job. My kitchen looks really beautiful.

It took several months to complete, longer than expected. Had redo some things, but hey finished it to our satisfaction. The quality grade is although completed job was fine, they had to redo several items.

Tony was wonderful and full of ideas. He said he was going to provide 3 different drawings and the very next morning I received the first one. Can't wait to see the other two.

It took them four months to do the entire thing. It looks good.

Tony and Agnes did a great job helping us to design the kitchen. They came to our house and we sat in our old kitchen whilst designing the new one. It was a great experience and really helpful to be able to walk around the space while talking about the new design. We changed our mind a few times and Agnew and Tony where very patient with us and made all the changes we requested really quickly. The build took three weeks exactly as planned. The builders were very polite and did an amazing job clearing up after themselves. Tony arranged for a great floor guy to match the new floor with our existing wooden floor and it is impossible to see where the new floor starts and the old one finishes. During the build they ran into some unexpected problems like finding sewerage pipes in the wall that was to be removed. They resolved the issues and did not charge us extra for the additional work which was great. Since we had the kitchen done several of our neighbors have copied our design and several have used iBuild based on our recommendation. I am writing this review two years after the work is done and we are still very happy with the work. I am about to start a renovation on a bathroom and the only builder I will consider for this is iBuild. This reminded me that I never wrote a review for the excellent work they did for me last time.

iBuild was one of three contractors we contacted to quote the work. We were clear only on the basic elements… “new tub here”, “add shower”, “new vanity there”, etc. We dreaded the prospect of chasing/choosing fixtures or finishes and we were willing to compromise in order to stay on budget. Of the three contractors who quoted, only iBuild provided the “design support” we needed as part of the job. The other contractors consider this an extra service and quoted it at considerable additional cost. iBuild have their own showroom with sample finishes and they have relationships with vendors who also have showrooms for fixtures. Tony designs the job using modern computer-aided design tools so we can see the plan and impact of changes. There are also the pleasant surprises: “we’ll do a bath tub shelf here”, “let’s put in a shower niche in there”, the stuff we’d only have thought of after the job was done. This support made our job of picking fixtures/finishes much easier. iBuild’s design tools and guidance ensured we all understood the job and budget. Tony charged us nothing extra for his design work and guidance; it’s just an up-front part of iBuild's service. The iBuild crew (Slavic and Chris) arrived promptly on the start date as promised. They laid down tarps and covers to protect floors and keep the dust to a minimum each morning. They cleaned up and removed the tarps/covers at the end of each day. They worked long days to finish as quickly as possible and minimize the disruption to our lives. The bulk of the work was completed in a week and longer-lead items (hardware, custom shower glass) were installed within the month as they became available. Tony and his team worked with us to get the best possible result. There were no shortcuts, no nickeling/dime-ing for extras. The completed project was a vast improvement to our home and beyond our wildest expectations. We don’t feel we compromised anything for budget and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience and result. We will be making only one phone call for our next renovation project… to Tony at iBuild. We would recommend Tony and the iBuild team to anyone without reservation.

Kevin from iBuild came out to give me an estimate. He was late to the appointment. However, when we went over what we wanted to be done, he assured us his company could provide us with what we wanted and more. Every time we made an appointment with Kevin, he was either late or didn't show up. The workers, Slavic and Chris, were amazing. They came every day on time and stayed late. They even hand made my mantle right in my garage. I have nothing but high praises for them. There was an issue with the granite slab in front of the fireplace and Kevin did address it right away. We are very pleased with the finished project, just not with the salesperson. Several months later we decided to try again and have them come out to give us an estimate on 2 bathrooms that we wanted to be renovated. Once again, Kevin was to come out but never showed up. After calling the office to find out what happened we had to reschedule trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. He came back, late, took measurements and listened to what we had in mind and said he would email an estimate. We never received an estimate. We are done with iBuild because of Kevin.

Failed every inspection, usually got it right after the third or forth inspection. If you use I-Build, you should definitely pull permits with the city . The two week project took three months to complete. There were some small issues which were never resolved. Multiple calls/requests for warranty work were never answered.

The owner, Tony, seems to know what he is talking about. Good personality and knows how to talk. We had a kitchen remodel and the cabinets were done by a family member so there were delays on our part and iBuild was understandable and patient with us on that. The subcontractors are horrible. After asking them to close the gates when they leave for the day they continued to leave them open. We have a dog and more than once we found her down the block. The electrician used one of our chairs in the basement as a ladder to work on electrical lines. They used other tools and equipment of ours without asking. The drywall guys made a mess like I have never seen before. The floor was completely covered in drywall joint compound. I guess thats the difference between a skilled laborer and a day laborer. The old duct work was removed, but not sealed so there are open holes in the ductwork blowing air in the basement and out the door. After the hardwood floor was finished they taped paper down to protect the floor. When the tape was pulled off the stain and poly came off with the tape. We were told they would put 3 coats of polyurethane on the floor, it looks like there is only 1 coat. The HVAC guys iBuild uses are awesome. I would recommend them to everyone, but that is it. After reading all the good reviews about this place my wife and I were really disappointed with their work. We were told that the subcontractors that worked on our house no longer work at iBuild, but they will not get our business again.

The project went well overall. Scheduling the start of the project was slow, but after that, everyone was very responsive. Tom was very attentive to details. I am very pleased with the final product.

I had my kitchen gutted and remolded.  I worked with Tony on selecting the materials that would be used in my home.  I told him what I wanted and he had his staff put the design together.  Now that it?s all done I?m very pleased with the finished work.

I would recommend iBuild to my family and friend for their remolding needs.  Great work; good job.

I gave punctually a B rating only because I wasn't able to use my kitchen for Thanksgiving; which wasn't the builder fault.  Other than that all the services I received from iBuild was totally professional and courteous.  Everything was upfront and no hidden cost or upcharges.

We had a major kitchen remodeling project which involved removing walls and reducing the size of Air vent(HVAC).  We contacted almost ten contractors and finally settled down with iBuild.  Tony was very easy to work with.  He explained the process very well and gave us a reasonable estimate.  His crew John and Shim were also very good to work with.  John was very knowledgeable and does every things right.  He doesn?t cut corner.  He takes pride of his work. Both Shim and John gave us good tips during construction.
Do not expect Tony to visit your place during construction.  He may be a little behind returning calls and messages.  But it doesn?t affect us at all because any issues aroused, he handled it to our satisfaction.  He is on top of everything and I believe he
gets reports/status from his supervisor.  We are glad we choose iBuild.  They gave us a beautiful kitchen without any major headache.  There is no doubt we will choose iBuild for any future projects.   

My kitchen renovation and refinished floor are complete, and they look great. After several mishaps with other contractors or getting quotes that were more expensive than the job was worth, I found iBuild. From start to finish, the process went fairly smoothly, with little delays other than the normal turnaround time for counters and such. From the time I visited their office to pick out my design and products to the end, where a cabinet face had to be reordered, I dealt with extremely professional and responsive workers. All were thorough, on top of the job, and knowledgeable, and they answered all my questions.

 In addition, iBiuld's internal personnel were available to me almost 24/7. They answered lots of questions, kept me up to speed on delivery dates and such, and were knowledgeable of the job overall, with a very professional demeanor and working all kinds of hours.

I definitely recommend this group for all your renovation needs.

During the first three weeks we experienced some difficulty with the schedule but once a new foreman (subcontractor) was assigned the work went much smoother.  Patty Rice of iBuild helped to manage the project and she stayed involved through completion.   Regardless of the delays we are quite pleased with the finished project.
