Lousy. The person who came out was non-communicative. Decided our kitchen floor was uneven and used gypcrete so only a solid sheet of vinyl could cover the floor. Incorrect! It tooks weeks of calls and visits to the store to get another, more informed individual to come out. Then it took a long time to get a quote, which was much higher than the price I was told in the store. It was a terrible experience and I will never use any service provider recommended by Home Depot in Mount Prospect. They should refund me my $50!

They are very good and also the installers.

I went to them, and when I told them I was disappointed that they were carrying this product, because I looked online, and nobody seemed to be happy with it, they seemed less concerned. I am never going back there again.

The company called me this morning to let me know I was number three on the list. They called me back later saying they weren't going to be able to make it out. Now I have to go a full week without my kitchen faucets working.

I was satisfied with whom they sent out but I had him done within code and so forth. That was sort of a hassle. They say if you want to have our business you have to have a permit and to get a permit is a hassle. If you go up to another plumber they are very honest. They came out to do a mount prospect. This is the first time I had to put a permit for a hot water heater. With the idea of the economy being bad they collect it all off. I had a garage put up and they did a real nice job, I had the whole permit on them. One of my deposits was lost because they had to do a re-inspect. I felt the pricing was reasonable because they had an offer going on where you could put in on tie pick for a year without interest, so I decided to go with them at that time. I had to pay cash so I couldn't put it on the tie payment plan. The quality of service was there, the man who came out did the job so I don't have any problem with the water heater right know. Everything was in quote because it was inspected. I was satisfied.

I went in there and got an estimate for carpet. I talked to a guy and he was great. They were supposed to contact me and make an appointment to come out and see the job site and give me my final estimate. They never came out. I called them again. They never came out. I went with another company. I went to them because Angie's List said they were good. I talked to the man for like an hour and told him my needs. He said no problem we will be out there right away. They totally dropped the ball. I never heard back from them. It was probably $3500 worth of carpet. I called again and they said someone would contact me the next day. They did not so I went with another company that would have never done this. Home Depot totally dropped the ball. I spent an hour hooking them up with a big job and they totally blew me off. I would never use them again for carpet.

The quality of the material was good and the price was good, but it took a week longer than expected to finish the project. They also were not very punctual.

They had to come back to do some fixing. Crew spoke little English.

I went to Home Depot to get quotes for re-designing my powder room. The man in the store were very friendly & helpful, who was George Winter. They quoted me at the price of $2,100 to $2,200, and told me that they would send out a contractor from Home Depot to look at the work to be done. When Steve Wallace came to my home, his quote was $3,565. A difference of nearly $1,700 from store to house is too much! Also, the products were different from the store to the house. I will not go back in the future for remodeling needs.

The man came out, measured the doors. We did not hear form him for about a week. They called back, and they said they could not install the door we purchased because it had a 5 and 3 quarter jam. They said they could not supply that and neither did the manufacturers. I accepted what they said decided to purchase another door. I went to go purchase a similar door and hassled with them on extra things that weren't necessary. He mentioned to me that they were having problems with their installer. I told him to forget it and canceled the order. I joined Angie's List and followed the recommendation they gave me. The company we decided to go with told us that the door jam was not an issue, and it shouldn't have mattered. They are under manned at Home Depot and are jumping between customers. This is no the way this should have been done. The service level is very poor.
