We had put a liner over Paneling in the family in the early 90's and then put the textured wallpaper over that. I inquired whether we could just paint over the wallpaper. Paul said that it could be done, but some steps needed to be taken to accomplish that.
We are very pleased with the outcome. They came in and completed both rooms and the front door in one day. There were two of them They were clean and careful. The cost was reasonable. We had interviewed 3 companies before picking Paul.
He gave me an estimated time when they could come here and they were right on time with that.

Franzwa gave us a fair price. His workers were on time and always professional. He is old school and knows his stuff. The apartment looked wonderful after he was done. I would use him again with out hesitation.

I had obtained 3 estimates and had concerns about all of the painters who had been recommended to me by our local paint store. I found Franzwa Decorating on Angie's List. I called and Paul promptly came over to give me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and answered all my questions. We set up a time for his painter to begin the work. Later that day he called and said that his painter, Wesley, had finished a job early and wondered if it would be ok for him to come that afternoon to repair the ceiling. When he arrived, all of my furniture was moved and covered in plastic and the floor was covered with drop cloths. Wesley repaired the ceiling and then came back the next day to sand it, prime it and paint it. That evening I noticed that some areas of the patching showed through the paint so I called Paul. He sent Wesley out to give it an additional coat of paint in that particular area of the ceiling. Everything looks great, the price was reasonable, and the people were very professional.

Paul came out to give us an estimate. Once we accepted the quote he followed up with timelines to start and complete the job. The timelines were followed to the letter and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were very tidy and professional.

Paul's name was given to me by roofing company; when I was in my attic with the roofing co owner inspecting the underside of my roof, I had put my leg through the hallway ceiling. I called Paul, and his first question was to make sure I hadn't hurt myself. He made a plan with me to come the following Saturday and give me an estimate. He showed up on time, took a quick look, then explained what he would do and what it would cost. I called the following week and made the appointments with him. He gave me the window of time when he would be coming, and was on time. He worked quickly, had his own drop cloths, and took a piece of the old ceiling that he had removed so that he could match the color of the paint. He came back the next day at the time he had indicated, and finished quickly. One can't even tell there had been a hole.

Paul understood our needs and assigned very capable staff to our job. It was an emergency job and he was able to fit us into the schedule almost immediately, even when we threw in an extra room. The staff was professional and handled everything well...they were able to work unattended.

ENTIRE HOUSE WAS PAINTED, INCLUDING CEILING, ALL TRIMS, AND DOORS. PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERT HANDLER OF VARIOUS PAINT SURFACES. GOOD PREP WORK AND CLEAN-UP. WILL HIRE AGAIN.
