Budget Lawn & Maintenance

Suppose to have a contract - never did.  Quoted price on phone was over $100 more than billed.  Get it in writing FIRST.

They did work on my yard last year. The edging, clean up, and trimming they did was good. I was happy with that work. However, they planted new grass in my backyard, and it died even though I watered regularly. My backyard looks worse than it did before they came. The mulch they used elsewhere in my yard had grubs. Skunks and other vermin have been ripping into it. The grubs also destroyed parts of my front lawn as well, which I have since replanted. They tried to sell me grub control when they did my yard. Very smart to try to slip that in since they brought the grubs in the first place. I had another company to take care of the grubs, as I won't spend one more cent with these crooks. I feel that I spent A LOT of money to have parts of the work turn out this poorly.

I recieved an estimate from Tim Cordingley for the work I wanted done in my small yard. I had to give hime a 300.00 check. He gave me an estimate of approximately 1300.00 for all. I then had to wait almost a month for the work to be done. Whenever i called to complain they always cited weather delays even when weather was just fine. When they finally did come out I entrusted them to do work while I was at my job. Later that night I found my sons IPAD was missing from kitchen table. No proof...just strange coincedence. Then I recieved a bill for almost eight hundred dollars more than the estimate. They charged me 375.00 for a small maple tree that goes for 99.00 at HOme Depot and 205.00 for each of the small evergreens that cost 39.00 at HOme Depot. And the trees at Home Depot look healthier. When I called to complain they gave me no platform to discuss the issues....simply "tough...pay the bill" attitude. No attempt to resolve issue. Then as I startede paying as i could they started harrassing me with phone calls. The last thing they did was really really intrusive and down right creepy. While I was asleep one night this Tim Cordingley came onto my property and left a theatening letter on my windshiled of my car. Basically threatening to put a lein against my house. Very creepy. i finally took money out of my deceased son's memorial fund to get them off my back. I find the whole experience to be very upsetting. They overinflated the prices, did not honor the estimate, then when I complained threatened to put a lein on my home. Very disturbing business practices, and I use the term business here lightly because in my estimation, they should not be in business. The only business I can see is ripping off the costumer.

They are bare bones and just come and cut the grass. They don't do a lot of specialty stuff. Anything extra you want is extra. If all you want is your grass cut, they are great. That's just what they do. They are very reasonably priced to cut your lawn. You can pay ahead and get a discount. They come on the day they want which can change each week, but they do come every week.
