Buchan Consulting, LLC was Outstanding - right from my initial contact with Rick to Andrew who came to my home and efficiently and effectively solved my AV setup problem. I found this company to be an extremely professional organization with whom to deal. For a project that was relatively small compared to their full scope of work they were willing to take it on and quickly scheduled an appointment. The tech arrived exactly when scheduled. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and solved my AV issues just slightly over the time frame that was estimated and the total cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Buchanan Consulting, LLC for any AV projects large or small. This company is professional, knowledgeable of all AV equipment, delightful to work with, trustworthy and honest.

I was looking to modernize my home lighting, video and sound system. Buchan was the second vendor that I interviewed. The professionalism and the pricing I received from Doug Buchan led me to contract with his company the day we met. I contracted with Buchan to install Eero, Sonos and Lutron systems in my house and my backyard. Doug worked along with his install tech, Rashaun, to ensure a smooth process. Rashaun was fantastic in explaining all the features of the new service and showed great patience in making sure I was well versed in maximizing all the features. I highly recommend Buchan Consulting

"Oscar, You changed the scope multiple times and additional equipment was needed to complete your install as you changed your scope. That of course increases hardware and labor costs which you fought with us about in numerous rude and factually inaccurate emails. Additionally, after having read about some network equipment on the internet you insisted you knew more than us although you have not ever set that gear up before and we have. We could tell from your emails and interactions with us that you were looking to have your price lowered to an unrealistic amount and we politely declined to work with you. I'm sorry that you feel we have 1/5 stars worth of quality (although you never worked with us), 1/5 stars for customer service (although we responded to 10+ emails, sent a design consultant out for a free estimate, and did everything we could to help win your job), and 1/5 value for the money when we are priced 25% below the national average for our industry on our labor rates. I wish we had been able to come to an agreement to work together but alas, we must settle for your 1 star review instead."

Doug helped me understand various networking issues in my house, installed some new hardware that resolved existing problems. WiFi coverage and speed improved dramatically. Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous, but not pushing. Very common-sense approach to problems. They go great lengths explaining everything they do. They present the customer with various options and let you make a decision. They will deal with Comcast (or whatever provider) on behalf of the customer, when installing new hardware at home (e.g. replacing Comcastà  à ¢à  à  à  à  s router with a new one). Definitely would recommend.
