Bart and his team have been fantastic.  They have been thorough, collaborative, attentive, responsive. Our first project with Bart was for a complete internal paint job on a 5000 sq house- his price was very competitive and he came highly recommended from our decorator.  His team performed the work in a very efficient manner, were punctual, and the work was spotless.  WE could not have been more pleased.  Since then, we have worked with Bart on a number of other projects in the house.  His team recently tore down a closet and built a custom designed new closet for us to the perfect line of the specs.  They have installed new tiling, various dry wall projects etc.  He even did an emergency sump pump install for us when that went bad while they were here working on another project!  We honestly could not recommend him more highly- his team is hard working, trust worthy and precise.  They do almost everything and they do it all well!

Everything went well.    Bart was on time, friendly and accommodating.

Bart and his helper showed up  on time. I had the paint waiting for them. There was no wall repair needed so they got right to work since  I had removed all electrical out plates and switch plates, and  moved all the furniture  away from all walls.

Very easy and professional.  SO glad I didn't try it myself!

It was wonderful.  They did a great job and we were satisfied.  The contractor came out and explained everything and helped us decide out a color and they did the job done faster than we thought they would and they did an excellent job.  I think they were very professional, everybody knew what their job was and they got it done.  It was amazing that they have it done that fast.  They will be happy with them.

It’s absolutely perfect experience.  I used them for other small projects and hope to use them again for big projects.  He is really, really good.  It is terrific and reasonably priced.  We love him.  They are fast, friendly, priced well.  He knows what he is doing and high quality work.

Bart painted most of my parent's new home. He did an excellent job. The old paint was oil based so he had to do an extra coat of paint, but still finished on time. He is hard working and reliable. I would definitely hire him again in the future!

Bart told me what to expect, started work at 7 AM and worked with another painter for 5 days.  He planned the project so that the inconvenience was minimal and made sure that both he and I understood the progress and what was being done.  He was very professional and meticulous and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would (and did!) recommend him. I am anticipating some additional remodeling in the spring and will call Bart again.

He removed the old toilet and wax seal.  I was not having problems but the toilet was more than 30 years old and I thought it should be replaced.  Bart cleaned the floor and area around where the toilet had been so if the footprint of the new toilet was different there would not be stains on the floor or in the grout.  Explained the kind of wax seal he was replacing it with and why it was different and would work better.  Installed my new Kohler toilet using some of the parts from the old toilet because they would last longer (the toilet was from the 70's - the parts were not plastic back then).  Shimmed the toilet and leveled it (the floor is not perfectly level and he did not want my toilet to rock, which would cause the wax seal to not work) . Cleaned up and it was done. The new toilet works great, it's quiet and uses less water.

Fair price, great work, was able to go in and finish during a tight time frame. Will definitely use him again, he's a great guy.

Bart is the single best contractor we have ever used for any project or repair.  His team are all professionals and they all care about the quality of their work.  His team are all very polite and hard-working.  Bart knows everything about home repair and has high standards.  He is easy to work with and makes recommendations when we asked for help in deciding what we needed to do.
The ENTIRE process with Bart was magnificent! He came out promptly and did a professional estimate for us.  We received a written copy by email a day or two later and his scope of work was clear.  We knew that when he opened the walls up after a flood we might have extra work to do and that was clear and there were clear and reasonable charges for spelled out for things we might want to do.
Bart is easy to communicate with - he calls to tell us when he is coming.  If there is a problem, he calls to discuss what we should do.  He described the options and gave us the choices that would make sense in our situation.  He discussed the options in a very professional way and took the time to explain everything and he thinks about the big picture.
Bart is prompt - he shows up on the days he says he is going to show up and his team works hard.  These are the hardest working contractors I have seen.
Bart is fair - his price was very reasonable for the work that we needed done and his charges for the extras that we requested while he was here were reasonable and he clearly discussed them with us.  When he gave us the final bill, we felt great about paying it!  The amount of work we needed done was a lot so it is really wonderful to go to sleep at night feeling that everyone got a good deal.
Bart is adaptable.  When we had a new issue in the middle of the job, he helped us take the right course to repair the new damage in a high-quality way.  I don't think anything can ruffle Bart.  He knows what to do in every situation.
Bart goes above and beyond.  He definitely went out of his way to give us outstanding service.
We did not know Bart before we found him on Angie's List; his professionalism during the estimate phase, his discussion of the quality work that he would do and the types and quality of materials he would use and of course his fair price won him the work.  We are really glad that Angie's List had Bart on the website and that we connected.  We will definitely use him again.  My wife worries that now that we have told the world about Bart's, he will get too busy to work for us <grin>.

They are really good. My house is old and when they were painting they discovered that one of the radiators had a broken pipe. They recommended that I get a plumber to repair the problem before they went any further. I am glad they did this because I would never have found it myself. They are really nice guys who are very reasonable and do good work. They are so busy it is hard to get a work start date from them. Once I got a firm start date from them they were here on time and worked constantly; they are great guys. If they say they are coming, they are here.

We have been and continue to be very pleased with our working relationship with Bart's Painting and Decorating.  He is prompt, he has excellent workmanship and his prices are quite good.  I would recommend him highly.

Bart and his staff are professional and competent and their finished product goes well beyond any expectation. We have hired Bart for a variety of reasons for work in a couple of properties. We have recommended him to over ten people, all of whom have called to say "thank you"! He is reliable and respectful of both customer and their space, his bids are accurate and extremely reasonable and his expertise and finished product is nothing short of excellent. Even our most picky friends and family have been completely thrilled and satisfied with his work. He does what he promises and then some, his decorating and remodeling sensibilities would rival any interior designer -- he is simply a pleasure to work with. He has my highest recommendation and my continued respect as one of the most honest, competent and honorable workmen in the business.

The insurance company had damage mitigation people that took down the drywall and sprayed for mold.  Bart estimated the costs to repair and was really close - the floor damage ended up being more extensive than expected and my trim was no longer produced, so it added costs but nothing unreasonable or predictable.  They were very competent in what they did, there are no drywall lines where new was added to old, the walls are perfect, not even any paint on the floor - they do a spectacular and extensive job of prepping with blue tape to ensure paint stays where they want it.  While Bart is Polish, he speaks perfect English and is honest and willing to explain the why's of what they are doing - things made sense and I trusted him.  It was a much better experience than any other I have had.  His crews (the flooring people and the electrician) came when they were expected and also did really outstanding jobs.  All in all, it was a great experience.
