Excellent work completed within time frame and budget. Joe quoted the work and recommend placement of all the new devices along with providing great explanations of why / how these would meet my needs and the current electrical code. The day of the job the electricians were prompt and attacked the job with full confidence. Work was completed in one day (bit long) and service was back on by evening.
I did work with Ameren construction consulting on the upgrade and their regulations, however due to a communication issue within the operations team, had to wait for approval the day of the job. This was clearly a utilitiy company issue an not Land F electric. In fact I will give extra credit to Land F for waiting for the approval.
I would recommend Land F for any future electric upgrades or major work. Thanks to Joe, Josh, and Don for the fine work.

They did a wonderful job and were able to repair the poor workmanship. Complete professionals with experience who worked efficiently and completed the job in a swift manner. When searching for a contractor to switch-out the old fuse box and outside electric panel of my1920s era 1-story home, i compared prices to 5 local businesses. Land F Electric provided me with the best price on the the initial quote. Their representative was very friendly and understanding of my needs, which made it easier to negotiate.

2 weeks into tearing down a few walls I decided to gut the whole house entirely so this is where the price went up. They were extremely flexible and the young electrician that worked on my home was easy to communicate my desires as he continued the work throughout. If I needed a new change or additions, he made the change immediately. He cut out all of the old "knob and tubing" and ran new electrical wire everywhere.

At the same time I was having a new water heater, furnace, and central air unit installed and he ran the new wiring to each of these units, using the proper wattage and wiring requirement.

Furthermore, and maybe most important THE HOUSING INSPECTOR IS VERY FAMILIAR with the excellent quality of work that this company produces. Is this important? YES! Made the close-out and approval process easier when we were ready to put the drywall back up and no worries from getting clearance from the city permit inspection.

In the end, the price was higher than quoted because of my multiple changes, but I'm completely satisfied with the service that Land F Electric provided.

Our contractor agreed to use these guys, provided they would come in line with the pricing of the other bids that we received. The work they did was fine, it was a pretty simple job. But then came the final bill. Their final bill was in the $13,000 range and then we got another bill for $1000 a month later. We were given a bill based on time and materials when pricing should have been bid out and followed according to the bids. We had 3 other estimates that were about 1/2 of what they charged. We did not add any extras. They were given the job, then had a license to print money, coming back, and back. Get it in writing from them, or be prepared for the bait and swith...
