The wood floors look ridiculous, streaks, mismatched finish. There is dirt in the finish and in one spot a footprint is even permanently finished onto my wood floor. I have had 3 professionals here to look at fixing the floor and all 3 said it will have to be resanded to the bare wood and done completely over.
He was also supposed to build a new railing for our double staircase. It was apparent that he had no idea what he was doing and ultimately we had to fire him. He left us with a few 2x4s as a railing in a house with a double height foyer with children living in it.
He and his team put over 20 holes in our drywall, broke our kitchen chandelier, broke a $1000 window covering and ruined the carpet in 5 yes FIVE rooms (the entry to each room, he sliced my wall to wall carpet with a razor blade). They also seriously scratched the base of every one of my kitchen cabinets ($35000 cabinets).
His work habits were unbelievable. More than once he simply did not show up. Regularly he left our home and left some other guy here who sat here playing on his phone for hours. He had an excuse every day - my truck got towed, I have to appear in court, my daughter needs watching. I even offered to watch his daughter for him if he would just please get the work done in our house.
This went on for 3 1/2 weeks. We finally fired him and will be suing his company and his sister company D and D remodeling. Please do not hire this person. Our beautiful home has been destroyed. It couldn't look worse and there is no one that will fix it before the holidays so both Thanksgiving and Christmas have been ruined for my family as we literally can't even live in our home.
The people I have had to come and look at this say it is one of the worst jobs they have ever seen.
