Richard is wonderful, professional, timely, prepared and knowledgeable roofer. He was referred to me by a friend in Riverwoods who has worked on her home Despite the fact he’s been so busy with roof repairs to the recently damaged customer roofs he made sure to come out and give me beautiful new gutters to ensure drainage and prevent further erosion of the land around the downspout he is very thorough does not recommend unnecessary work timely responds to all texts and calls. Very well. My roof was leaking and I called Rich and he help guide me through the whole process. I had 3 other bids all higher then Rich.  I went with him b/c he doesn't pressure you into anything, gives you an honest and reliable opinion so that only what is needed is fixed.  I do agree with another member that Rich isn't the best in communicating his schedule to you but his quality and workers are top notch.   He gave me his cell number and he always picked up so that helps by calling him to ask rather then him updating you.  If you want someone proactive he isn't your man. 
The Work:  Arrived 8:30AM done by 5PM each day.  They left the area very clean and only a few nails but that was to be expected considering the amount of work to be done. My neighbor is a contractor and gave RJN high marks in cleaning the work area.  Each project that needed to fixed has specific workers that need to come out so that kind of slowed to project down however most of the roofing was done in 2 days.  Some shingles were defective so he had to get more material and I'm glad he did not install on the house but usually roofers order extra....and my house was not complete for a few days.  I also appreciated that Rich came out every time when his workers were on site in the morning and at the end to inspect the work.  I have got nothing but compliments on the roof.  Roof has no leaks after a few rains and honestly it looks great although I'm not a roofer.... Rich was very accommodating to any request I made trying to fit it into my budget. I would use him again.

The work appears to be a quality job with quality materials. A neighbor who was home when the work was done said they covered everything and were very careful. A few plants were trampled but that is to be expected. My neighbors are happy with the work as well.

Owner had mentioned the brown siding we requested MAY be back ordered, with not much mentioned after that. When roof was finished, the workers started to tear off the siding-but no replacement siding was on site. We had to call the owner to make them stop-lots of rain in September & where is the siding? Workers stop removing siding upon order of owner. Nothing happens for over a week. FOUR calls to the owner went totally unanswered until tempers flared. Owner called back to set up appt to look at alternate siding options-similar siding picked and it was ordered. Siding arrives and is placed in the driveway. Days go by & we hear nothing from anyone-calls to owner again unanswered. After very angry call, owner calls that workers for siding will be there. One man and his son tear off the siding and install the remainder of soffit and siding by themselves. The son tells us part of the delay was that his father was sick. There was some discussion as to the insulation thickness- the 1/4" was to be 1/2" & it was remedied AFTER it was pointed out. The installer wanted up to let him put siding over our mailbox and install a mail slot in our door. (No, thank you) and wanted us to get a remote door bell so they didn't have to pull wires through the siding (no, thank you) and our back yard light did not work after the siding until my husband tweaked it. However, they were both very polite and tried to stay out of normal household paths. The siding, etc. all were completed NOVEMBER 6th. As of today, November 11th, we have YET to have the old siding and left over new siding be removed from our backyard, side yard and driveway. The owner has yet to receive the rest of his payment.

They were very professional and did extra work on my siding that they didn't even charge me for. Other companies wanted to charge me $100.

THEY HAD SPOTLESS CLEANUP!!! THE WORKERS DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH BUT THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK!
