I can't say enough about Dawn's design expertise, industry knowledge and
customer interface skills! She is completely awesome. I hemmed and
hawed on deciding which outside lights to get and she was responsive,
friendly and totally informed every time I pinged her for the answer to
an additional question. I was looking things over on their vast website
and really needed some hand-holding to be sure I would be happy in the
end - buying sight unseen as internet buying is. She encouraged me to
take my time and feel sure since there are manufacturers' (not
Littman's) re-stocking fees associated with returning unwanted items. I
took forever and there were many communications before I arrived at a
decision. Dawn's knowledge of the manufacturers along the price/quality
spectrum of lighting was incredibly reassuring. She is expert at
aesthetic and design considerations as well. Regarding my two exterior
front door lights, Dawn encouraged me to feel completely comfortable
considering items of larger scale than I was seeing on other homes.
People are scared, it seems, of scaling up the size of their outdoor lights and now
I am so happy to have gorgeous lamps that are in perfect relationship
to the scale of my front entrance - not dinky pinpoints! Dawn also
ordered a table lamp for me and when there was an issue with it, was
100% in my corner in getting the manufacturer to exchange it. There was
never a single hesitation on her part, regardless of the time that had
passed since I first received it. So easy to see that customer service is a guiding principle of the business. In addition to Dawn's counsel on my lamp purchases, she has significantly raised my awareness of the differences among light bulbs! There are quality variances within the incandescent category and which impact the life of lamp sockets. Plus, I am newly hip to the virtues of LED light bulbs from a cost-effectiveness standpoint AND she is completely up to date on the improvements in aesthetics that LEDs continue to achieve. Bottom line: hers is a full service approach to home lighting

I'm in the process of remodeling a condo and needed the above items. The condo has concrete ceilings which made the selection for the light and fans a bit more difficult than for a drywall ceiling which allows for recessing mounting boxes.
Dawn was knowledgeable, patient (I was there for over 2 hours), and very courteous. You'll find a trip there definitely worth the time.

Lighting Service
Great experience. The sales staff was very helpful, I never felt rushed even though I went back and forth a number of times while I was picking out the fixture. They had a lot to choose from and I feel I got what I wanted, and paid a fair price.
