Morris Construction

Our project couldn't have gone worse if we had hired a 9 year old to do it. Pathological lies, takes your money and does not work. We paid $17.5K for maaaybe $10K work of shoddy construction work that look 3X as long as it should have. Since firing him we've had to repay someone new to redo almost everything he did as it was all done quickly with no attention to detail, or completely wrong. We've lost thousands of dollars, had irreversible damage done to our cabinets and wood flooring due to poor installation, and been stuck in a kitchen remodel that should have taken 8 weeks for 5 months now with no end in sight because we didn't do enough research and chose Ben Strainis as our contractor. Once he has your check in hand he will disappear for weeks, and then if you can get him on site, he'll work for 3 hours and disappear again for days on end. I'm not sure Ben Strainis has ever actually done work on houses. Do not let yourself get conned. Keep your $$$ and run fast from Morris Construction, Strainis Construction, Strainis Co, Strainis Contracting Services or any number of the other names he changes his business to to fly under the radar and steal money from people. Look him up by any of the above company names and you'll see multiple reviews of him stealing money and not doing any work on Angie's List and BBB.
