Description of Work: Dean Lodwick (owner, contractor) received a specially adapted housing grant from the VA to modify my home and make it wheelchair accessible. The job was supposed to take 10 weeks it tool 14 months, Mr. Lodwick would abandon the job for several weeks to work on other jobs, my ceilings are cracked, the grout in the bathroom is cracked, some walls are cracked, he did not do two coats of paint on the walls, the hardwood flooring is loose and separated,as well the kitchen and dining room hardwood flooring is two different thicknesses in both rooms, the garage door was not properly installed and when it sprung my bother had to repair it and it still has to be pulled down to close as the garage door opener will not close it independently. I have a leaky roof, and a window in my bedroom, my sliding glass doors in my garage are bowed at the bottom because of inproper installation. The wheelchair accessible shower was not installed properly and the V.A. docked him 1,000 dollars for this. After receiving the final payment from the grant, Mr. Lodwick failed to pay his subcontractors and ultimately filed chapter 7 bankruptcy. I know of a friend who paid for their addition and Mr. Lodwick did not complete it either.
