Statements In Stone was established 6 years ago. With a current crew of 19 Employees we are thriving and the majority of our business is that of referrals. Mike Busin had been in the landscaping and construction business for over 25 years and used his experience and knowledge of the industry to build Statements In Stone into the company it is today. Mike Busin and Mike Fazio saw the need to provide our community with a unique business concept of the “One Stop Shopping” preference so many customers were looking for. Our main focus with starting Statements In Stone was to provide our customers with an array of affordable services without eliminating the quality they deserve. This allows our customers to have the convenience of fulfilling all of their needs from one company that could provide all of the services that they required.

Commercial and Residential services: Lawn Maintenance, Hardscape Services, Snow Removal, and Remodeling/Construction. We specialize in custom brick paving and hardscape services. Our “3D technology” allow our artists to provide custom and unique design options for our customers. We are able to design any type of outdoor kitchen, bars, living spaces, driveways and patios to name a few. Anything you can dream of for your outdoor enjoyment, we can design and build it.

The gentlemen were on time, polite, careful and professional. It was great! I would hire again!
Description of Work: It was winter so the crew had time to fill in odd handyman jobs. I needed a large armoire moved down to the basement.

Mike came out to give me an estimate. Work started in a reasonable amount of time. Sent Mike a few emails during the process and he was very responsive. Fixed sinking pavers and resealed front walkway . Looks great. Would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Resealed my paver walkway and fixed some pavers that were sinking.

In the first year we lost many trees and have continued to loose trees every year. We reached out to a university who was kind enough to send a subject matter expert out, they found that all the trees were planted improperly (too low in the ground) which led to thousands of dollars down the drain thus far. When I reached out to Statements in Stone, they made it clear they would do nothing! I strongly recommend you avoid this company!
Description of Work: Installed dozens of trees, low voltage lighting and rock wall.

I'm sorry you feel that we did not do a good job for you. In 2009 when the job was done none of the trees were watered properly by your staff of helpers. That's why they die with weeks. Then soil was pushed up around the AC units by someone other that us. I know there was problems with your general contractor and many of my recommendation were not followed. I'm not going to go in to all the issues But,If your remember those trees were not paid for. Since you never paid for them there was no warranty available to you because of non payment. Fair is fair if the job would have been paid in full and you would have been reasonable we would have worked it out . But you did not want to work it out with us at the time .That was 6 year ago and you want to complain about it now after your people never watered and you never paid your bill. I have never had any problems with customer that pay their bills. I go above and beyond to make them satisfied and happy.

Description of Work: Fantastic service. They installed a retaining wall, two sets of paver stairs, a paver walkway, paver patio, walkway lights, new bushes, sod, decorative rocks and related landscaping for our back yard. They went above and beyond in virtually every aspect. The quality of the installation is superb. I would recommend Mike and his crew to anyone looking for a upscale looking installation at competitive pricing. I want to nominate them for a super service award or the equivalent. We couldn't be happier!
