About us

We are a licensed bonded and insured full service HVAC provider. JTR has been in Business for over 20 years. JTR is a factory authorized Carrier dealer and the Carrier Presidents Award winner for 2009, 2010 & 2013. JTR works out of a flat rate book for residential service. We charge a diagnostic fee then the technician quotes the repair to the customer from the book before any repairs are made. JTR offers 24/7 emergency service. JTR does not use subcontractors at all even our after-hours emergency calls are taken by someone from our office. JTR offers $10 off any repair to customers mentioning they saw us on Angie’s List. They do good work and I have to keep on. I get along with Jerry. He’s the one that runs it but he gets forgetful. Over the years, I've had him put in a new generator and they started with it. They put in the tank with water heater. They rewired my garage so I can put in a swim spa on the garage. They’ve done a lot of work for me. They missed a repair schedule. They put in a new furnace and air conditioning. Last year, they forgot the schedule for maintenance on the generator. I was upset with them. They didn’t noticed when it came time to do it.

The warm weather came early this year and our old air conditioner was not up for it.. My wife and I both have health problems and depend on having air conditioning so we called JTR they had made a repair to our furnace before. Within an hour we had a service tech at our home. He went over our whole system and then discussed the repairs needed and costs with me. Our air conditioner was 22 years old, needed major repairs, and was very inefficient. I asked the technician about replacing the unit and he gave me prices on a new unit plus went over information about the energy savings I would receive with a more efficient unit. We decided it was time for a new system and JTR installed it that day. Everyone we dealt with at JTR was knowledgeable an d friendly, this was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. One of the things i hate is being pressured and JTR never did that. The technician that came to my home never once tried to pressure me into making the repairs or replacing the unit. He gave me information and lt me decide what to do. Then when I made my decision they were willing to accommodate our schedule and needs how ever they could. As I said we have health problems and really needed air conditioning ASAP so JTR made sure we got it that day.
