I contacted Bill to do a hardwood floor inspection for me after having my hardwood floors refinished and not being happy with the job done by a different company. Bill told me he needs 350.00 to show up and charges 150.00 an hour and could come out the next day and he did. Four days later, I emailed him asking when I'd receive my report. Bill responded promptly saying he was on vacation and I would have the report by the end of the next week when he got back. I contacted him the last day of the following week and he did not have the report done and said I should have it by the middle of the next week. I became upset and said this was unacceptable and needed it today. He got angry, offended and said he would refund my money by sending me a check if I wasn't happy. I agreed and hung up. Nine more days went by and I still did not have my refund or a report. I called Bill again and he said he was very busy and had more work than he could handle and backtracked on giving me a refund and told me he'd have an invoice to me or my report soon. I told him I wanted a refund and demanded to have it by the end of the week. At the end of the week, I received an invoice from Bill with another $150.00 charge and said he would send me my report after I paid his bill. So, a month after he did an hardwood floor inspection for me, I don't have my report or a refund, just a bill for more money.
