We called them and they came out. They said we needed a new unit and said it would be costly. I then called a family friend who's in the AC business and said there was nothing wrong with it and that it mainly only needed Freon. He did this for us and its been fine ever since.

"We came out for the furnace. The technician indicated there was an issue with the heat exchanger. The furnace issue has nothing to do with your AC or Freon. We would love to send a supervisor out to you to go over the furnace and to confirm his findings."

OK...although they should have checked to insure the furnace was heating and the humidifier was working after the install. We called later in the day after the install and a technician came out right away. He found a wire that was disconnected in the furnace as well as wire disconnected in the humidifier. Once these were connected...the unit worked perfectly!

They were like my second opinion so they were really good. I just felt like ti was fair and he gave me the complete picture. He took the time to really explain what was wrong and show me what was wrong and then explain the different options that I had. Really good and took the time to explain things so that I could make an informed decision. They were really good. Almost faster than I would've expected.

The people are very nice but they change the prices right on site after the work was completed. I thought I was getting a furnace cleaning for just $59.95 like they stated in their advertisement but they charged me $216 to check and clean my furnace. I told the company about the dust and very heavy white particles in my vents beforehand so that they would be aware of my home situation. It had been so bad that two of my vacuums have been ruined. They told me that they couldn't take the price down from $216 to $59.95 and to speak to the owner. I left my phone number and he still hasn't called me back.

Rick called to say he was on his way, and was on time.  He identified the problem was the motor and offered options for repair.  He had the parts in his truck and finished the repair during the first call.  I had a concern about the noise, he was responsive and came back to corrected the problem for no additional cost.

Diagnosed furnace on the Nov. 3rd & the earliest he was to arrive was exactly when he did. Few weeks passed while I got together the money then called on Nov. 27th to have them order the part and set a date which she said December 3rd. Well Rick showed up the very next day (after trying to call but my phone was on silent) and said he may have the circuit board so he came in to see and I told him I didn't have the payment on me but he told me that he would do it anyway if it was the proper board and that he trusted me to pay him the next day. Well it wasn't the right board but he said that he may be able to get it by the next day which he did [28th] and called to inform us he had it but I still didn't have the payment on hand and I really appreciated what he was doing for us so that we would get the money on the 29th and call. Well today was the 29th and we had the money so I called and he said he'd be by in an hour to an hour and a half. He showed up in about 45 minutes. He installed the circuit board but something still wasn't right so he tinkered for almost 2 hours before finding the culprit, got it fixed, tested it all and I couldn't be happier. It was only supposed to be a 30 min. job and he was here for about 2 hours and still gave me the price quoted. A+ Great experience

The tech called and let me know he was on his way. He got here started to clean the house furnace by taking it apart checking everything. I never saw a furnace taken apart and cleaned like that,they usually stick a vacuum hose in it and say its good to go.The tech explained how often to change filter and what else to keep a eye on. He then went to garage and he checked cleaned and told me what i needed to get this furnace working properly again. The customer service,knowledge and professionalism of this company is outstanding. This was the second time i have had this company at my home and i couldnt be more pleased.

:The blower fan on our furnace went out on a Friday afternoon.  I called Rick at 3 PM and he said he could be out at between 5 and 7 PM that day.  He called and was at our house at 5 PM.  He quickly analyzed teh problem and at my request he gave me prices for repair  and replacement of our furnace. I asked or a price for a new air conditioner and he gave us a very competitive price.  He agreed to come out between 9 and 10 AM the following day.  Rick and a helper showed up at 8:30 to get ahead of predicted rain.  The job was finished by 3PM.  He gave us a good explanation about how everything worked.  he told us the best way to maintain everything. He sent in registration /warranty and I have already received an email from the manufacturer.  We are very pleased.

While working on our house my husband busted the Freon pipe leading to our air conditioner. In a panic he called Comfort First to come do the repairs.  Despite short notice the technician came out the same day, on a weekend no less, to do the repairs. He had my air up and running before the next heat wave hit. He arrived promptly and was professional and courteous. After he finished he cleaned up, I couldn?t even tell any work had been done. While he was fixing my air conditioner he reminded me to keep my filters changed frequently to prevent any unnecessary damage, saving me an untold amount of money. Rare to find a company that puts service before their bottom line. I would definitely call Comfort First for any heating & air needs I have in the future.  -

We recently purchased a home and we're moving in on one of the hottest humid days this summer. We noticed the a/c wasn't working which was a bummer as we didn't purchase a home warranty. We searched for local companies and located Comfort First. When we called we were very pleased he was able to come right out. Rick showed up promptly and was able to diagnose a failed capacitor within minutes!! While he was there he inspected the a/c and made some recommendations to make it last a little longer.

Comfort First Heating and Cooling came to my home to do a routine tune up on my air conditioning unit. They called a head of time to ensure I was home during the time they said they would. The service technicician was presentable, friendly, and professional and arrived on time. He did a very thorough job. He even explained the importance of routine tune-ups and changing my filter monthly. I am definitely going to use this company for my heating tune-up and other heating g and cooling needs I may come across.
