The first time we hired him was to install kitchen faucet and while he was doing that he noticed there were other real discrepancies with the plumbing. This house was built in 1978 and there are some things that are not up to the code for today and he brought it all up to the code. Basically I don’t think he charged much for that. We were so happy with the service then that we called him to fix the leak in the toilet. When he did come to look at that he noticed certain things that were done in 1978 that would not pass code today but because of paper situation it could not be fixed. But he did work around it. He replaced the water heater on an emergency basis. I recommend him highly.
