 + -1 moreOnce I arrived, I zeroed in on a few types of hardwood flooring that would fit the style of our house. The one my wife picked was on sale (clearance), but the Crestwood location didn't have enough for us to complete the project. The dept. manager couldn't see anything in the computer, so he contacted several other stores in the area (it was discontinued, so they couldn't order more). While on hold with the other stores, he gave me some excellent pointers (they came in handy when I installed). After they had located enough stock for me to complete my project, they helped me load what they had at their store and helped me get it into my truck (alot of boxes, alot of weight). Excellent up & beyond the call type of service that is lacking in alot of places today.
Description of Work: I was looking for materials for a new hardwood floor. I found a really great price on a discontinued floor style, but the Crestwood Menards did not have enough square footage (I needed an additional 520 sq ft). They worked with finding the materials at other stores (only 2 in the Chicagoland area had remaining quantity). They held it until I could pick it up & while we were waiting for call backs, the dept. manager gave me some great advice on how to put the floor in.
