WEATHER DELAYED START AFTER ESTIMATE AND CONTRACT. GARAGE WAS KNOCKED OUT QUICKLY ON FIRST DAY. ONE DAY FOR WEATHER, THEN HOUSE ROOF WAS STRIPPED.  DORMER ROOF PITCH WAS PROPERLY LAYED OUT AND COVERED. DORMER WALL NEEDED REPAIRS AND WINDOW WAS INSTALLED. FRONT WINDOW WAS INSTALLED. ROOF WAS SHINGLED WITH ARCHITECTURAL SHINGLES, SHOULD LAST A LIFETIME! GUTTERS AND FLASHING WORK WAS DONE, INCLUDING SOME COSMETIC UPGRADE TO FRONT FACADE OF ATTIC SPACE. THIS JOB WAS A LONG TIME IN PROCESS ON MY PART, MONEY WISE, BUT IT WAS DONE IN AND OUT IN THE SPACE OF A WEEK. I WENT THROUGH THE ESTIMATE PROCESS WITH  SEVERAL CONTRACTORS; AND  I GOT NOWHERE. I WAS PUT IN TOUCH WITH BILL AT ALLIED, AND CAME TO AN AGREEMENT WITH ONE MEETING. WHAT WE DISCUSSED AND CONTRACTED FOR WAS EXACTLY WHAT I GOT. BUT I CAN ALSO SAY IT WAS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE IN NEED OF WORK

Prior to contracting with Allied Roofing Services, I had no leaking from my roof, but it was old and repairs were out of the question.I got three estimates and Allied was the middle one. Bill the owner explained the process and seemed reasonable and fair. I took their bid Allied started a  later than promised, I had to call the owner to find out what happened. When they came , it took two days and the crew was fine, several major problems occurred afterwards. When the roof was complete there was a dip in the roof that I did not notice, the dip was not there prior. Owner Bill Cardinal promised to fix it , but he has not kept that promise. Also, after the first rain, my new roof leaked! It took almost to years and dozens of calls for the owner two come and fix the leak.He told me on three occasions that he as coming to fix it but he still has not. There was flashing missing and he still has not replaced that; the dip is still there and no the roof is leaking again. The owner Bill Cardinal , is not responding. The dip is still there and I am extremely frustrated and angry. This is my first step  in using mean other than direct calls and honest business practice to correct. It seems apparent that Allied is a bad , bad  company. Stay Away

"I personally was out at Mr. [member name removed] home on several occasions, first due to dip in roof. We replaced rotted wood decking (roof sheeting) during tear off as my contract said we would where dip occurred. The wood rafters under neath decking were not rotted, if they were I would have had an extra work order in writing to replace them. I showed Mr. [member name removed] that it was solid and sound by literally jumping up and down on area that has sag. The sag was caused, I believe because there was five layers of asphalt shingles on his home prior to being torn off. Local building codes allow two layers max. The extreme weight of all the extra roofing caused the sag and the thickness of five layers of shingles most certainly hid the dip in the roof prior to tear off. I responded to a leak in his roof over a year ago as soon as I was notified and found a window in a dormer right above affected area to be rotting out because aluminum capping was not done properly. The window clearly is allowing water to travel down wall and into house. I took pictures and showed them to the customer and told him although my company can recap the window he can definitely find someone cheaper as I am a roofing contractor and not a window contractor. If that work has been done and roof is still leaking I will gladly go out and address issue."

Came on time; were careful about keeping foundation plants from being damaged; did an excellent job, especially in repairing the front flat roof section that was never installed properly by a previous contractor and continued to give us leaks. Provided a 5 year guarantee on parts and labor. Completed work in one morning.
