When I spoke with him over the phone explaining the issue he agreed to come out and check it. Once he got there he let me know there was a valve that needed to be replaced and it would cost $24. After performing the work handed me a bill that included $104 charge for labor on a job that maybe took half an hour. I think he over charged me for the labor

Grassers has always provided excellent service to us on different appliances, and this time was another great example of their commitment to quality service. Previous to the installation, their office personnel were helpful, courteous, and informative, trying to help us make the wisest decision for us, especially whether to repair our old unit or replace it. The installer was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, neat, conscientious, hard-working--a reflection of that old-time service that used to be the norm. There were some unplanned situations with our old heating unit and in getting the new unit into our basement, making it more difficult for the installer; but he dealt with it in a professional manner, going above and beyond to accommodate and make things nice. Highly recommend Grasser's Plumbing and Heating!

This provider made a total of 3 service calls to my home over a 45 day period of time to troubleshoot and repair my residential furnace. The first HVAC service person was woefully undertrained and did not provide an adequate answer to the problem. When I called the provider the next day they explained the technician was relatively new to servicing, and typically did sheet metal construction for new installations. The provider agreed I would not be charged for a second service call due to the lack of professionalism of the original technician. I was told they would contact me to schedule a follow up appointment.

After waiting 2 weeks I called back an requested a follow up appointment as the problem had not been fixed. A second technician arrived several days later and in 15 minutes claimed to have traced the problem to as bad connection of a circuit board in the furnace. Satisfied the problem was fixed, we left our home for a 1 month vacation in Florida and asked our neighbor to look in on the house weekly to assure all was well.

Less than 1 week into our vacation, I received a call from our neighbor saying the furnace was not operating properly. I called the provider and asked that a technician be sent to repair the problem. Received a call the next day from the technician saying the thermostat was defective and was replaced. Approximately 2 days later got a call from the neighbor checking the house saying the floor in the hallway was a mess from the technician walking about without cleaning or removing their shoes/boots. I was surprised by this as I had seen other write ups by customers saying how the technician(s) went to great lengths to remove their footwear and/or wear protective booties in the house.

I'm disappointed in 2 areas. 1, that it took 3 service calls to finally fix the issue, and 2 that the technician left a mess behind without bothering to clean it up or make me aware that the floor needed to be cleaned.

They installed a cheap thermostat with their name printed on it. I would have preferred a better quality thermostat and especially one without their name on it (it looks bad on the living room wall), but it works and I guess I will live with it.

I liked that I could call them and they took care of everything. We had a drain system that they redid all the piping on. They went above and beyond. They cleaned up very well. It was like they were never there. They were also very personable, friendly and professional. I would recommend their services to others. They are an A+.

I have had several problems with this company. I bought my furnace from them in 2008, and radiators clogged up the furnace. They have told me that I need a new furnace, and the one I have only has a 4 year warranty. They have been miscommunicating with the times that they are suppose to be there for different jobs. They have shown up unannounced, and then the office will not let me speak to the people that are on site. I truly feel like I have been taken advantage of, and I just would like to get this resolved.

I called two weeks in advance to make the appt. and told them that I needed to have the work done on a specific day. He (the plumber) called that scheduled morning and asked what was wrong, which surprised me because I already provided a very detailed explanation when I made the appointment. It was the first he had heard about it. He arrived an hour later, cut the hole in the wall and said he would come back to replace the pipes on another day. He had to get to another job. He left. What? I took the day off of work to have the job done on this scheduled date. If the work needed to be assessed, they had two weeks to come out and look at it. I called Grasser's and emphatically expressed my thoughts on this issue. After a long conversation with someone they agreed that he could come back tomorrow. I was given a small discount off of the BID ONLY for the scheduling issue.
He came back the next day, apologized, and continued the work. Coincidentally, HE had a personal appointment for which he had to drop everything and leave for an hour and a half. This was my second day off of work to babysit the plumber, but his appointment couldn't be rescheduled. hmmm.
Once he thought he was finished, I asked why he wasn't replacing the corroded drain. Everything was replaced; why not the drain. He didn't plan on it. Really? 3/4 of a job? Ahhhh, once again, a scheduling issue. He had to be somewhere in an hour. He thought better of it, and made a phone call. In the meantime, I was taking pictures of my bathroom floor, counter, and bedroom carpet, and the horrible use of a drop cloth. In other words, why bother with the drop cloth?
It's done. There is a small leak somewhere that comes through my ceiling below. I am taking care of the problem, no thanks to Grasser's.
This is truly unfortunate because I have used Grasser's services for furnace and my water heater. Those were both satisfactory experiences. This, however, far from satisfactory.

.I thought I needed my 2 1/2 year old tank-less water heater flushed as it was not sounding right. I called on a Friday and was told the scheduler would call me back to set up an appointment. He didn't. On Wednesday I called back and they were out that Friday. He determined heater needed a new blower, and he flushed the tank. 15 minutes later he was on his way, saying they would order the part and be back on the following Wednesday. They didn't come nor call. Thinking the part was probably on back-order I waited another week before calling.

The technician had written down the wrong model number, so they had not ordered the blower. (I bought the tank from them). I read off the model number and explained that I was upset that not a single person contacted me about the problem. I got a call from the parts man saying he had ordered it and it would be in Monday, to be installed Tuesday. It wasn't. No call either. Thursday they called and installed the part. Then I get a bill for $102.18! $99. to flush the tank and $2.99 plus tax for the vinegar! Good news is my husband paid attention and we can flush the tank in the future ourselves.

I called them for an estimate to replace the main water supply line as well as correct some other plumbing issues. They came out on a weekend. They called ahead of time and showed up when they were supposed to. They asked questions and listened to my concerns. A few days later I received a written estimate. I have not had the work done yet, but when I do I will use these people.

I would recommend them to others because they are professional, courteous and wore booties to make sure they wouldn't track into the house. I just liked them a lot and would definitely use them again in the future.

They did exactly what was stated in the estimate and the furnace installed was highly rated in reviews.
The furnace was located in the kitchen. It made a terrible mess but they laid tarps and cleaned it all up before they left. There was a problem with the way they did the electrical but they came back on their own and fixed it.
