There is a national backorder for the part so the TV can't be fixed until the part arrives. This is not Ben's fault it is the manufacturers fault and the manufacturer is Samsung. They have been sued by their customers and their is a class action as a result.

I highly recommend them. Their service was good, and they came on time.

Sony receiver STR-DE985 had sudden onset constant static when AM/FM played. Sony gave two phone numbers of authorized service centers. One was curt, abrupt, (located in Chicago) refused to offer any guess as to possible sources of problem. Garrett @ Skokie TV Service was friendly, willing to discuss possible sources. Friendly, professional. Fee for initial examination only slightly higher than other center. Called within four business days with reason for problem. Fixed quickly and ready for pickup. Addtional $140 (approx) for new receiver. Now works like a charm.

After replacing the TV we discovered that we still had the same problem. It turned out to be a bad wire. Getting to the source of the problem and realizing that there was nothing wrong with the old TV - after spending almost $1000 on a new one - took a number of months. Since it is now more than 3 months they refuse to even refund the cost of the service.

CHARGED AN OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT AFTER NON-REFUNDABLE $40 DEPOSIT THEN TOOK 5 WEEKS TO COMPLETE THIS SMALL REPAIR. WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME BACK WITH INFORMATION AND NEVER DID. RECORD PLAYER DOES WORK RIGHT AFTER ALL THIS BUT A VERY UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE BESIDES THAT.
