I saw Scrapper Dad's truck in the Home Depot parking lot, so I copied down the phone number posted on the side of the truck. I called him on a Wednesday afternoon, and he showed up on Thursday morning!
Scrapper Dad doesn't charge you for the service (nor does he pay you for the metal) and all that metal gets recycled as opposed to put in the landfill.
And I now have a clean garage (sort of) !
