Water was getting in the back of my house and created mold on the inside of the fiber sheeting. The owner of the siding co came out and said the water was coming through the second floor window opening. He said he could replace the siding (about 300 sq ft), including a small spot next to the patio door that was warped from the grill, and seal the tyvek wrap around the Windows and patio door for a thousand bucks. I asked him if the siding would match, he said yes. The next day he just showed with a sloppy hand written contract while I was on the phone. I asked him if it said what we talked about, he said yes and I signed it. I shouldn't have trusted him. Weeks later, after all the interior mold was removed and the sheet rock was replaced and painted, he shows up when the yard is wet and soggy. He removed the siding and set it in the yard. Then he retaped some stuff and reused the old siding except for 3 new pieces. When he said he was done, the new pieces didn't match (they are really obvious) and the piece under the window that was leaking was cracked. I pointed out the cracked piece and the pieces that don't match. He said he'd replace the cracked piece and that the new pieces would match once they fade in the sun...the back of my house is to the north! He demanded payment except for $50 until he replaced the cracked piece. The next day he shows up out of the blue and instead of replacing the cracked piece he just patched it with a foot long piece. The siding under the window is supposed to snug up to the window channel, but he left a good 3/4 inch gap where you can see the tyvek. He demanded the remaining $50 and I didnt have any more checks in my check book, I had written him the last one the day before. I told him I'd mail it to him. He left. Later that afternoon I let my dog out in the yard. He had left the gate open and the dog got out. It took me 2 hours to track down my shepherd. He left the yard a muddy mess and killed the grass. And the reused siding he put back on the house was muddy as well. I got screwed. The siding looks like crap. I'm going to have to have the siding redone in the spring, but not by this guy!

I call him earlie on March , spied to Marvin we set up an appointment, he was right on time , took mesurments, call me the next day and also email me the price , and the plans for the build out, we agreed on the price , they asked me for a deposit, on the of 10,000, I gived him a check, he told me I be back with materials next week, following week they dropped off the wood, the next day , they started to build my deck, 1 1/2 week it was done, he than replace my patio door, it looks beautiful, very happy, I have couple more proyect s that I going to call him for. I had originally chosen an Andersen French Style Sliding Patio door (from Home Depot) and had requested that McHenry Windows, siding & Remodeling install it.   They came over with brochures to show me their doors and let me know they could beat the price.   I decided to purchase their door vs the Andersen door, (as it was basically identical) and I saved approximately $400.  The price I paid included the door and screen (with a life time warranty) and installation.  I am very happy with the results.

This was a big project and I was very happy with the high quality workmanship from McHenry Windows, Siding & Decorating Company.   Cost of service was for labor to remove carpeting from upstairs hallway and three bedrooms and replace with Pergo laminate flooring through out the second floor.    There was lots of furniture to move in order to get the job done.  Considering the amount of furniture in the way and all the carpeting that had to be torn out and hauled away - I was very happy with the time frame to completion.

McHenry Windows, Siding & Remodeling did a beautiful job on the installation of my staircase.   Labor included removing the old stairway and carpeting, installing solid oak treads and risers, refinish side wall.   Also included staining with 2 coats of poly seal.  The work is high quality and I highly recommend this company for all your projects.

It went very well.  Work was completed on time.   Also - outdoor trim was replaced (to match existing trim).  The Windows are now 7 years old and are still in great shape.

They arrived on time and on the day the stated. Even though our house is very old and there's always surprises when working on older homes, they did a great job! The areas where they worked were cleaner after the work was done than they were before! Awesome!

The roof installation went great! The work was done in a very timely & professional manner. My roof was torn off, the new roof installed and all the garbage was hauled away in a day. The work included ice & water, 30lb velt, drip edge, gutter apron, downspouts & elbows, vents and lifetime, architectural shingles. 

It looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier!   

McHenry Windows, Siding & Remodeling did a beautiful job on the installation of my windows and doors.  The work is high quality and they pay close attention to detail.  Plus, my house was cleaner when they left than it was before they arrived!
