Called Monday night and spoke to Jason Morse the owner. He came Tuesday morning to diagnose the problem. Furnace was replaced on Friday. The external temperature sensor was relocated to a more suitable location. The Humidifier was repaired, and the pad replaced at no extra cost. Overall, a very good experience.

My furnace had no heat, I spoke with Jason Morse, he said his tech was just finishing a job and could stop by in the next 20 minutes. He said there would be $189 emergency charge plus parts, I agreed. His tech, Brian, showed up and within 3 minutes of diagnosis, he said he needs to replace a part - pressure switch, and it cost $375! I questioned him why a part costs so much, he then said this is how much it cost! I asked him the brand of the pressure switch, meantime I gave him the green light to replace. I quickly Googled “Honeywell pressure switch” just to discovered that the price ranges from $30 - $60! I called Jason back, and he argued that: “Google doesn’t have 20 years of experience, and if you don’t like it I can call Brian to remove the parts!” Eventually, my credit card was charged $538.00 The total price for replacing a pressure switch to the furnace on the weekend is $538 !!!! Comfort Doctors’ Jason Morse and Brian are major rip-offs in the HVAC industry! Now, the question is why Comfort Doctors have so many good reviews on YELP and Google? Because they can pay ads to put the good reviews on the top of the page, whereas my NEWLY published review went all the way to the bottom of the page! For this reason, I need a better platform to share my experience with the public, that way less victims would be “robbed” by these two rip-offs! There are many Comfort Doctors nationwide, but my experience is with Jason Morse and Brian located at 5717 Weatherstone Way, Johnsburg, IL

Jason and his crew were fantastic. They were punctual, honesty, and professional throughout. We felt in great hands and will continue to use them in the future.
