CB Home Improvement & Maintenance is a new home improvement & maintenance company, it is owned and operated by career construction professionals with over 30 years experience in the home building and home improvement industry. Our resumes include working with several national home builders, real estate developers, and commercial construction companies. This has provided CB Home Improvement & Maintenance with years of experience working with homeowners, subcontractors, and municipaities. CB Home Improvement & Maintenance has the willingness to do the small projects and the ability and knowledge to handle the largest projects. CB Home Improvement & Maintenance is primarliy operating in Lake and Mchenry counties, but we do have a subcontractor base stretching from Southern Wisconsin to Northwest Indiana. This allows CB Home Improvement & Maintenance to meet homeowner needs throughout the entire Chicago land area. CB Home Improvement & Maintenance understands that the decision to make an improvement can be difficult. You have a lot of questions and we will be here to clearly answer all of them. All estimates are free, and we provide a limited 12 month warranty on all our improvements. From the moment I received their phone number, I received excellent service. I saw their ad on facebook and decided to give them a call. I called on the weekend and thought I would talk to a machine but I actually was connected to an actual person and they gave me a tentative quote on the phone and they set an appointment to come and estimate the work for that Monday . I was so impressed with the professionalism of the workers and how quick it was to get an actual quote. Their quote was very comparable to others but the quality of work is so much better then others. From the moment they walked into my house I knew I made the right decision. They were very respectful, they were clean, they told me exactly what they were going to do and how much. No hidden costs and gave me the bathroom of my dreams using quality materials and the exact materials and colors that I wanted. I Plan on redoing more of my house and cannot wait to use them again and see what plans they have for me. I highly recommend CB Home Improvement and Maintenance especially if you want a quality job at a great price. Thank You John and Ken for doing an awesome job!

Ken, from CB Home Improvement explained the project very clearly. He completed my estimate quickly and then explained it to me. Everything was included and there were no supprises. Ken, his crew and subcontractors showed up on time, cleaned up daily and they were all very professional. when the kitchen was completed he walked me through the entire kitchen, explained all the new switches, windows, cabinets, etc to me. He tested all the appliances and explained how to maintain them and activate the warranty with Maytag. My new kitchen is great, I love it. CB Home Improvement did a great job, they did it at the cost they quoted and within the time frame I needed.
Ken told me that they warranted their work for a year and I was able to test that a week after the project was completed. The sink center on the counter top was an inch out of center. I sent Ken a picture and explained what my concern was. He can over and looked at it, he very quickly agreed. The counter top was replaced within two weeks at no charge to me. They not only did a great job, but they stand behind their work.
I plan on renovating my master bathroom next, and I know who I will be calling.
