Bartnick Construction used the underground trenching method to install my new water line. During this process, the new water line got bored right through my underground sewer line. 15 months later, I had a massive sewage back-up in my basement. My front yard had to be excavated to find the source of the blockage. When my sewer line was unearthed, it was discovered that the damage was caused by Bartnick Construction's water line installation. I am now out almost $5200 in repairs and damages and Bartnick Construction REFUSES to take responsibility. I am now in the process of a lawsuit and also in process of having this company banned from the Village of Island Lake. At the severe urging by The Village of Island Lake, Bartnick Construction did finally file a claim, 4 months after the fact, with their insurance and all claims have been settled. Lawsuit was not needed.
