I was updating my appliances based on my realtor's advice to sell my home, and she referred me to Maywood Appliances as a place that could take my previous ones that were still in good working order. They were very happy to pick them up. It was very easy to set up a pick up time, and they did a nice job at the time they said they would. I was very happy to find a place where my good appliances were given a chance to find a new home, instead of just sending them with the company who delivered my new ones to be disposed of. I know I could have probably gotten some money for them on Craigslist or ComEd, but with getting a home ready to sell decided this was a better option for me.

They were pretty good. they also ended up fixing some other stuff for me.

I was thankful he cleaned it even though he didn't have to. He was very pleasant and a nice person. The nice thing about it was that he called at around 930am and told me he was heading my way soon. I work the night shift and needed a call to wake me up. He was very courteous.

The staff were very, very friendly and answered all of the questions we asked with expertise and a smile. They were not pressuring us to buy and gave us time to look around. We also asked a few questions about washing machines and dryers and we got some great information. They delivered the appliance the next day (to the 2nd floor) and the guys who made the delivery were really kind and funny. They also hauled out the old refrigerator for free, which was wonderful! It was a wonderful, affordable experience.

I called Chuck after a tenant complained about a furnace that wasn't working at an apartment building that I own. He arrived within an hour and a half of my phone call. The problem was fixed quickly while I was at work and they billed me over the phone. To date, this is my third time doing business with this company and they have always been extremely courteous and responsive. The prices quoted for work have been the most competitive. I will definitely send them more business in the future.

THE REPAIR MAN WAS NEAT, COURTEOUS AND QUICK. THEY DID THE REPAIR FOR JUST THE COST OF PARTS EVEN THOUGH THE DRYER PURCHASE WAS ABOUT 2 YEARS BEFORE AND I DIDN'T HAVE THE RECEIPT. THE REPAIR MAN WAS POLITE, ON TIME AND FAST ABOUT HIS WORK. HE ALSO GAVE ME HELPFUL ADVICE ON ANOTHER APPLIANCE IN NEED OF REPAIR. WE HAVE PURCHASED 3 LARGE APPLIANCES FROM MAYWOOD RESALE AND FOUND THE OWNER TO BE HONEST AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE APPLIANCE ARE ALL SUPER CLEAN AND HOLDING UP WELL. DELIVERY PRICES ARE REASONABLE AS WELL. I RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL OUR FRIENDS.
