FOREST MOVERS

The 3 man crew was excellent. They arrived on time and located great street parking for the truck. They worked efficiently, even though they had to lift everything down 3 floors. They all had very professional attitudes. The move took exactly the 3 hour time estimated. I was very pleased and will recommend them to my friends and co-workers.

They were prompt, calling ahead to be sure we were ready. They handled several antique pieces with great respect and care. They were careful and knowledgeable about disasembling and re assembling the furniture. They unloaded things at the new place without a hitch. Nothing was scratched. No d amage to anything and some of the things were fragile. If they stopped for a break, I didn't know it. The whole thing was by the hour. It took less time than I anticiapted.

Outstanding: The move started off a little shaky in that the movers were late. However, one of the owners got involved by giving the driver proper driving directions. In addition, the owner (Glen Reuter) said because of this problem, he would arrive personally at the end destination to help out at no extra charge, which he did. The movers were very professional, worked quickly, were very careful, and diligent with respect to their work. They completed the job within both the estimated time frame and cost. We asked for additional work beyond what was planned. This included (1) moving storage items from the garage to a storage area in the basement, (2) moving many Christmas boxes and items from one area of the basement to another area there, and (3) moving a bedroom set and multi-piece sectional couch from the basement family room to the garage to be picked up later by another party. This work was gladly completed with no problem, and at a minimal additional cost. We would definitely hire Forest Movers again. The move went very well, no problems at all, and at the right cost. I think that they were a decent company as they didn't charge us very much to move and they didn't brake anything at all. I really like the fact that the movers were not impersonal and they acted like they would take care of our personal belongings.

THEY ARE DEFINITELY CHEAPER THAN THE OTHER MOVERS. THEY DON'T CHARGE A MINIMUM RATE, NOR TAG ON AN EXTRA HOUR LIKE SOME OTHER MOVERS DO. THEY WAITED FOR ME TO ARRIVE ON THE SCENE INSTEAD OF STARTING THE PACKING RIGHT AWAY, BUT WHEN I TALKED TO THEM ABOUT THE TOTAL BILL, THEY REDUCED THE CHARGES TO NOT INCLUDE THAT WAIT TIME. I THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY KIND. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND PATIENT.
