Dependable Moving & Cleaning

Horrible. They came late (appointment 4pm/arrival 7:00), were very slow, and unskilled. My landlord and I helped them move. What they did move themselves they damaged. My couch was damaged which is a small hole and I was going to let it go until I saw my bombe chest. My bombe chest and armoire were severely damaged. My $1200 bombe chest was the last thing they brought in and they cracked a piece of marble off the top. I checked all the items before leaving the first apartment and everything was fine. Which means he cracked it moving it into my new apartment and hid it. I looked for the piece of marble at both places and could not find it. He asked me to met him at the truck to sign and didn't even say he damaged pieces. It was 10:45 when they finished and hey did not set up anything. Unreliable and untrustworthy. I have added a before and after of the bombe chest.

It went amazing. When I hired Dependable for their moving services I also set up a move out cleaning for the apartment. They were very accommodating and worked with our schedule. Once our apartment was empty, we met Tamela there to let her in. She came with all cleaning supplies in hand and ready to work. This cleaning service was a huge help to us because she took care of the deep cleaning of the kitchen, bathroom, etc. We had so much other stuff going on with the move that it was a relief to not have another thing to worry about. Tamela did a fantastic job and was finished in about 2 hours. I plan on using Dependable for cleaning in the future and definitely recommend them to anyone who wants an affordable great cleaning service.

Went very well. They accommodated our needs and even last minute changes. On the day of our move, David and Marshall called us when they were on their way so we would be ready for them. As soon as they arrived I showed them our storage unit in the basement and then all of our packed belongings in the apartment. We had boxes, bags, containers, and obviously furniture. They immediately got to work without hesitation and were especially careful to work with me to not let my 2 cats out in the process, which was a huge concern to me. They knew exactly how to pack the truck and worked non-stop until all our things were loaded. The minute they finished they headed straight to our house in Bolingbrook. We followed and they were waiting in the driveway for us! They jumped out of the truck and took instruction from us as to how we wanted the items unloaded into our house. I was so appreciative of how respectful they were of our brand new carpet. The unloading went very fast even with the carpet precautions. They took good care of our belongings even with some of the stuff we didn't pack so great! I would use again and recommend Dependable any time.
