Savage Construction

11/2017 - This company ripped me off. The estimate was for $4,850.00. He required 50% up front for materials. I sent Savage Construction a check for $2425.00. He then told me that it would take 3 weeks for the door to come in. It was finally delivered around the first of January 2018 along with some wood and garage door opener. Dan Savage Construction never returned to complete the job and never refunded me the difference between the $2,425.00 that I paid him and the cost of materials that he had delivered. I tried to contact him via phone, text and mail with no response. The value of the materials that he delivered was around $1500.00, we feel that he owes us a minimum of $1,000.00. I would NEVER use this company again and would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

It started off pretty good, but it quickly deteriorated. Apparently he hires people after the job and than doesn't pay them what is due to themn and those people ended up contacting me personally. He also doesn't deliver on time. The project for the siding was supposed to be done by November, but didn't get finished until March, drywall took much longer and isn't finish. He and his workers leave materials just laying around in short it is pretty much a disaster.
After repeated e-mails on status of projects (I am in another state), and request for pictures, a friend finally sends me pictures to show what progress is. I eventually had to ask him if he has given up on the project and no word. Come to find out today 5/18/2012 that his tools are all gone etc, so he has checked out.
In short, unreliable, wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Just a total FLAKE.

Absolutely excellent. Dan is punctual, communicative and I feel the work was reasonably priced. I'd recommend Savage Construction to anyone needing a project done - big or small.
