They took care of it. They took care of the pets like it was their own, they hold his hand. They're real knowledgeable, and take their time with you.

I thought they took really good care of our doctor. They are professional, and she came back in good shape, and so I thought they were responsible.

She is our one and only vet. She is the only one that I trust with all my babies (3 dogs)

Our Boston Terrier broke out through the screen door when we were away and made it to the highway, where he was struck. I'm not sure how he arrived there, but we got the sad news about his demise from Clyde's. They were very thoughtful about how they broke the news to me. I went there that afternoon to make arrangements; they were very nice and sympathetic. They outlined the options; we went with the separate cremation and placement in a wooden box. It took 9 days and the box was very pretty with his name enscribed on the front. It also included a picture frame and certificate. They also sent a condolence card signed by all the employees. Not a pleasant experience to lose your pet, but Clyde's did an excellent job in helping us deal with the situation.

Dr. Elizabeth Clyde is a wonderful vet. I started taking Paco to Clyde's because he was accustomed to his hands on, friendly vet in Chicago, and the local large vets who cared for pets really put him off with their matter of fact, impersonal care. Having to carry an 80 pound dog into a vet office was the last straw. I found Dr. Clyde through an acquaintance and I was very happy with the way Paco was treated and he was always excited to see and quot;Dr. Lizand quot;. The last visit was traumatic, but that was hardly Dr. Clyde's fault. Paco had an undiagnosed spenic cancer and bled internally. She did her very best to save him, but circumstances were against him. He developed DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation) after the emergency surgery to remove his cancerous spleen. I saw DIC many times in really sick post-op ICU patients; I just never expected to see it in my and quot;babyand quot;. DIC is life-threatening, and has to be treated immediately. In Paco's case, it probably started during the night, when no one was in the clinic to monitor him.
My only issue with the practice was Dr. Williams: we had a personality clash or something. I am sure she is a good vet, but we just did not connect.

I used to take my cats to them when I lived in Illinois. I took my cats there last for their shots. They are really friendly, they prices were good and fair and they did well by me, so it was an all round good experience. I rate them highly and I have never had any issues with them.

I've been taking my pets to Clydes for ten years now. I get plenty of people that tell me there are less expensive vets in the area but I'll stay with Clydes. Animals can't tell you where it hurts and Clydes has the most up to date equipment and technology to diagnose. We've had a great relationship with them through many pets and situations. They know me when I call or come in and know all of my animals by name. The staff and vets treat each one like their own.
