J&S Heating And Air

Overall the product he installed (furnace and central air) was decent, his workmanship leaves something to be desired. Every time the weather drops down and we kick on the furnace, it never works. Usually we call J&S and he comes to fix "the switch" (whatever that is). It's usually a 5 minute job that he has performed the past 2 years. We are having the same problem again this year. When we turned on the furnace for the first time, it did not work-just like it's happened in the past. We called Scott 8 am Saturday. It's now Tuesday and he still has not fixed it. The temps have been dropping into the 30's overnight. We have 2 young children and let me tell you-my house is cold! The warranty is supposed to be 10 years labor, but I guess he doesnt care. He does not back up that warranty. Unfortunately, he's self owned and the only employee so there's not much we can do except pay someone else to fix it. I think that if he doesnt want to honor the warranty and fix it, then he should pay our bill that we will have for another contractor, right? I have a feeling that's not going to happen. He was the lowest bidder so he won the job. However, his follow up service is horrible.
