I had an awful time finding a reputable roofer. I called 4-5 and all were too busy! I called Scott twice. The first time I called in May and he said to try to find someone else because he could not get to me until October. Well, I called him back in August and asked to be placed on his wait list. He actually faciliated the process by telling us what we needed to do with regards to our home owners' insurance. We followed all his recommendations and ended up getting a new roof that was almost completely paid for by our insurance company.The day they were to take the roof off there was predicted rain. My husband was very concerned about this, so even though the men had shown up to do the job, Scott sent them home for the day. It did, in fact, rain later in the day. The next day the men showed up again, and competely replaced the roof in one day! He had about 7-8 men on the job, all of whom were polite and responsive to my request....in that they blocked my car in with their trailer. I should have taken my car out of the garage, but did not. One man stopped what he was doing and pulled the trailer out of the way so that I could exit. Scott requires half payment the day the job is started and the other half 1-2 weeks later...just to be sure we were satisfied with the job. I cannot say enough about Scott and his knowledge of the roofing business. I did look at Angie's List but no roofers were listed near us. There were some from St. Louis, but that was too far away. Please use Scott for your roofing needs, even if you have to wait awhile for his services.
