Jose's Drywall

I contracted Jose’s Drywall Service whom I found through Angi’s list to repair my ceiling that was water damaged. We were in somewhat of a rush to have the job completed because we are selling the house. They came out, gave us a quote and performed the work the same weekend. I was very appreciative of the prompt response. Initially, when the paint was still wet, it looked great, and I paid them and gave them a nice review because I think it’s important to do so and your site depends on consumers to provide prompt and accurate feedback. Later that day (Sunday, August 24th), within hours, we realized that we had reviewed them prematurely because the paint was peeling. I texted then and showed them the pictures. He asked where it was, and I told him exactly where the peeling paint was. He never responded. I then texted him back the next day (Monday, August 25th) and said that I felt they rushed the job and painted over wet mud and asked them when he could come by and fix it. He claimed that they did not rush it and that they would indeed fix it and said he would be by on Tuesday August 26th. I texted him this morning and I never heard back from him. I explained that I have people coming to see the house and that it needed to be remedied. I have not heard back from them. They seemed like nice enough people, but the lack of accountability and communication is a great concern to me therefore I cannot recommend them nor would I use them again. For the record, I do not like to give poor reviews. I understand people make mistakes but lack of communication and not sticking to a timeline that was agreed upon is a huge red flag for me.
