Went to this alternate dealer in next town of Marion, Illinois and had 4 EXCELLENT experiences after TERRIBLE Service experiences with Vogler Ford (Where I purchased my car) in Carbondale !!!
Could NOT recommend this organization more (GREAT People and Service) !!! One of the BEST Auto Dealerships I have EVER encountered.

The trip to the service department went great. These people treat you with great respect and kindness and take great effort to explain things to you and make sure you understand things the best you can. I am not a very mechanical person and the service adviser took 30 minutes explaining something to me once. He dealt with other customers checking vehicles in during that time as to not make them stand while he took time with me, but he made sure I understood what was going on too.

I have used Marion Ford Hyundai for many years. I bought my first car from them in 1988. I have gone to other dealers and bought vehicles but was not pleased with the way I was treated after the sale so I keep returning to Marion Ford Hyundai. In total I have probably bought around 15 cars from them.
I ordered this particular truck on December 19, 2011. It was built on February 13, 2012 and I picked it up on Feb. 20, 2012. The truck is the best looking truck I think I have ever owned.
Everyone in the dealership has treated my wife and I very professionally while at the same time making us feel that we are more than just dollars to them. When you go there you really feel like you could go grab a meal and a drink with anyone there, not just your salesperson.
For example, I had an extended illness last year (2011) and my wife had to take the car and truck up to get them serviced. Everyone that worked there that saw her asked how I was and if they could do anything to help. I know that is the polite thing to do but here you really feel like they mean it.

We don't normally like car dealerships....usually feel like you're walking into a lion's den, but not at this Ford Dealership. We bought a brand new Lincoln Continental two years ago. We already had financing available, so when the Manager talked to our bank on the phone, it wasn't 30 minutes and they had the car serviced, pulled up to the front door and ready to go. A few weeks later, we were invited to a delightful "Thank You" meal at the Dealership, for people that had purchased a vehicle at Marion Ford. We were given a tour of the Dealership and it's maintenance Department, which we enjoyed very much. Actually, we met some very nice people there, won some raffle gifts--it seems this Dealership attracts what they are--Good People. (smile) For the last two years, we have had our vehicle serviced there and have been totally impressed with their professionalism, timeliness and willingness to do the very best servicing of our vehicle. They are as honest as the day is long. We would recommend this Dealership to anyone. You know it's a good place....when the husband, who's been a Chevy guy all his life, won't go any place else now. After visiting several dealerships, we decided to buy a Ford Focus. After stopping at 3 previous dealerships and "not quite satisfied" we decided to stop at Marion Ford (we had never done business with them before). We stopped, got an excellent salesman (Jeff Cain), test drove a Focus. We had a price for a new vehicle within 10 minutes of finishing our test dirve. We were going to buy a Silver one; however, the salesman could tell that this was my second choice and that I really preferred one in a metallic grey. He talked me into letting him try to locate one. It was at the dealership within 90 minutes for us to test drive. We bought the car with little effort. He also spent at least 30 miniutes at the end of the deal going through features of the car. He told me he had wanted me to be happy with the car I chose and he was afraid I would never be quite happy with my second choice. He also gave me a tour of the Service Department where I met the Asst. Service Mgr. and also his boss came out to great us. It is the best experience I've had buying a car since 1995!! It is a large dealership but they take the time for that old style hometown flavor!
