In my old home he replaced my windows.  He pays attention to detail and all of his finishing work is just perfect.  The corners are all neat and he pays attention to all the little details.  He is willing to work with you.  He would ask you how you want it and it comes out that way.  It is amazing. He is not the cheapest price but he is the most comparable.  The quality was good and there were no drips or anything like that.  He takes a lot of time if there are nail pops to be pushed in and he does a good job with all of the prep work.  He doesn’t just paint over everything. He has been very responsive with me.  He had a key and he would often call me if he needed me to pick up anything from the store or if he was going to be late.  If he didn’t come on time it was because of work related stuff.  Painting is not the only thing he did.  He was good at installing the kitchen cabinets and he has contacts with the guys who install the granite and that type of stuff.  He did a great job. He charges me by the hour and it was $45 an hour which I thought was reasonable. I don’t have any complaints about him at all.  I heard horror stories of people who hire someone for the project and then they disappear after sometime but I have not had any problems.
